Melaleuca continues to experience historic growth. We are thrilled to see so many families prospering, both in terms of health and financial security, because they use Melaleuca products. The more they use and share the products, the more wellness they create! The New Year has just begun, and we anticipate that more and more families will find real wellness this year. This is so exciting to me! They can have the balance of the wellness they’ve always wanted because someone shared Melaleuca products with them. Whether their goals are related to weight loss, physical health, debt, family togetherness, or intellectual growth, in some way Melaleuca can help

them reach their goals. The Peak Performance Pack and the profound results of the Freiburg Study are a great example of this. Consistent consumption of the Peak Performance Pack has had a considerable impact on the physical wellness of countless individuals. It has also contributed to the financial wellness of countless individuals and has helped us have the most successful year in our history! Throughout the years it’s been interesting to witness how goals have contributed to the success of many individuals. It’s thrilling to see how determined some people are in reaching their goals. Their determination is evident in their daily activities— they hardly ever let a day go by when they aren’t doing something to reach a goal. They have their goals written down. They have a plan. They know that although there are many things happening around them that they cannot control, they can control how they react to those things. They change

stumbling blocks into steppingstones. They are alive! They make life happen! They have faith in themselves and in their Creator. And when they fail, they don’t stay down, they get back up and try again. They learn from their failures. When they experience failure, rather than becoming discouraged, they see value in the experience. They use those lessons to move them one step closer to their success. And then there are others who are less determined, who get excited about their goals at first, but then let their intensity slack off. Maybe they never wrote down their goals. Maybe they realise just how hard it would be to reach their goals. Maybe they had a life event distract them, or they faced unexpected challenges. No matter what challenges or successes we had last year, we can complete this year with a sense of accomplishment and celebration by resolving now to reach our goals. That’s the beauty of starting a new year! You get a fresh start! This is a great time for new goals, new focus, and a stronger resolve. It’s wonderful to think that a fresh new year is in front of us, and we can make it the best ever! The first step in making 2016 the best year you’ve ever had is setting and writing down your goals. If it has been a while since you sat down and wrote out what is important for you to accomplish in life, we would encourage you to go through that process. Those who just kind of dream about their goals but never write them down don’t seem to end up in the same place as those who write them down. It has something to do with making a specific recorded promise to yourself. If you do not make a record of your goals, they are much more likely to end up only as dreams, which are easily forgotten over time. I do not fully understand all the reasons why some people take the time to establish specific written goals and others do not. What is clear is that those with clearly established goals end up at a totally different place than those without written goals.

Once you’ve written down your goals, let Melaleuca help you achieve them. Melaleuca establishes a way for anyone who has a goal of a better life to achieve that goal. Yes, anyone! Melaleuca puts success within the grasp of anyone who wants it. We do not pretend to know what your goals ought to be, but whatever they are, we want to help you reach them. I know that you can reach your full potential this year if you have written goals and a granite resolve. This Year I

Your Best Is Your Ultimate Victory My social media feeds are already pulsing with thousands of Melaleuca customers sharing their #ThisYearIWill goals with others to fuel inspiration—and to help hold them accountable. I’m reminded of how this technology can be an enormously powerful tool. Rather than putting out negativity or complaints into the world, you are all inspiring others in your life by your example of focusing on concrete steps to make your dreams come true. Looking at some of these posts on Instagram and Facebook reminds me that Melaleuca is the perfect vehicle to help you reach your personal wellness and your professional goals. The variety of the goals speaks to the great diversity of our extended family. Some are focused on being better parents and cultivating healthy environments for their families. Others seek to reduce their financial worries by growing their residual incomes through their Melaleuca businesses. Others simply want to eat better and live a healthier lifestyle—which can certainly be a challenge coming out of the holiday season! It’s easy to write down what your goal is. It’s more difficult— and ultimately transformative—to write down why this goal is so important. Let me give you an example. My goal is to lose 10 pounds by March. Clear enough. But why is this important to me? When I do some reflecting, I know that it’s not just about the pounds, it’s about my health and my future. It’s about lowering my blood pressure and increasing the likelihood of holding my grandchildren in the years ahead. With that motivation in mind, I’m now ready to get out there and make my vision a reality. I suspect by now you have already set an important 2016 goal, but have you defined why it is important to you? The book currently on my bedside table is The Champion’s Mind: How Great Athletes Think, Train, and Thrive by renowned coach and professional counselor Dr. Jim Afremow. He writes, “There is nothing wrong with visualising great things, but you also have to have the law of commitment to follow up.”

Earlier this month, thousands of Melaleuca customers and business builders came together at 70 locations across the U.S. and Canada to experience the Melaleuca 2016 Launch webcast for themselves. Without a doubt, the most powerful moment for me was the 2016 goal setting session, in which the attendants set their personal and professional objectives for the year through our #ThisYearIWill campaign. This was the moment that all of the excitement of Launch came together to move from energy to action. The simple act of putting a goal down in writing is a signal that you are not just dreaming of a better life—you are actually making it happen.

OVERCOMING INNER RESISTANCE Conventional wisdom would have you believe that most of us don’t set goals or put our full selves into our goals because of fear of failure. Dr. Afremow asserts that there is a more powerful inner resistance in many of us: a fear of success. This fear of accomplishing everything we’ve ever dreamed about can paradoxically prevent us from setting goals and taking action to achieve our goals. The better you do, the better you have to do. When you’re more successful, the demands and stress only grow greater. If you’re successful at work and promoted, deep down you may believe you’re not ready to assume the spotlight. So we shrink back, fearful that we’re not ready. VICTORY IS IN THE EFFORT The key is to reframe the concept of success itself in your mind. Let yourself know that setting big, audacious goals and not reaching them is NOT FAILURE. Setting goals and doing your absolute best to reach those goals is the ultimate victory. I’m reminded of Michael Jordan, one of the most prolific athletes of our time, who said, “I have missed more than 9,000 shots in my career. I have lost almost 300 games. On 26 occasions I have been entrusted to take the game winning shot…and missed. And I have failed over and over and over again in my life. And that is why I succeed.” Michael was fiercely dedicated to his goals—but recognised that pouring all of his best efforts every day into his work was what really mattered. Michael understood that “doing your best at this moment puts you in the best place for the next moment.” Will

DAILY FOCUS QUESTIONS So shift your mindset to celebrate the daily journey. A great way to start the day is to have a ritual that gets your mindset in the right place. For some, this could be devotions and prayer. Others advocate meditating, while others are fanatics for the benefits of exercise. Regardless of what routine works for you, I recommend asking yourself two of Dr. Afremow’s key questions each day. At sunrise, ask yourself: How will I be a champion today? At sunset: How was I a champion today? Asking these questions keeps your mind in the right place and focused on the moment. Do your best in the current day rather than worrying about what tomorrow may bring. The key is to take some action each and every day. You’ll experience how the discipline of doing small, consistent actions every day leads to a positive mindset and amazing results. This can be an incredible year! It’s just up to you. So what do you plan to be celebrating when you look back on New Year’s Eve next year? What is your #ThisYearIWill? And what are you doing today to make it a reality ?

Convention 2016 has just finished and what an event it was. We laughed, we cried, and we experienced almost every emotion in-between. It’s truly a rare occurrence nowadays for people to come together in a really big group just to experience positivity – thank you for making it such a special time. Perform At Your Peak was the theme at Convention and I had the pleasure of explaining the three things that I think will help you Perform At Your Peak in the year ahead, indeed these three things could help you do your best possible work for the rest of your life. Executive Director 4 Bj Vaughan

What a year 2015 has been for Bj Vaughan! Not only did she advance her business to Executive Director 4 in December, she was also awarded Melaleuca Australia and New Zealand’s highest honour – Marketing Executive of the Year 2015!

What a journey it’s been for Bj. A single mother of two boys, she had few options and little income but she did have a strong desire to change her life and give her boys opportunities and choices. Rather fortuitously she enrolled with Melaleuca in August 2004. In the beginning things were slow and quite tough, she had to develop her skills and work hard. However it was her big heart, passion for the products and her natural instinct to nurture others that saw Bj attract others to Melaleuca. Fast forward 10 years and her life has been completely transformed! Now a master at enhancing lives, her Melaleuca business provides her with a six-figure income that affords her the time freedom to live a wonderful, healthy lifestyle on the Sunshine Coast. Frank always reminds us, “A Melaleuca business can be built anytime by anyone.” So after a few years’ of maintaining her business and enjoying her residual income, Bj reevaluated her goals at Convention 2015. “The theme at Convention was A New Day and it resonated with me. It could be a new day for me! I made the second life-changing decision I’ve made with Melaleuca, right there at Convention: to give the lifestyle I enjoy to others.”

“I had already helped Diane Alca and her personals Tanya Wieden & Dean Bennett start their Melaleuca businesses but I loved working with them and wanted so much more for them.” Bj put into action a very simple plan for them: add names to your contact list and make approaches – every day! It’s Corporate Director 8 Eddie Bestoso’s plan, “Help your people become great approachers because when they are, they’ll become great business builders.” With her support, Bj helped Diane and Tanya & Dean reach Director 8 and Director 7 respectively but she didn’t stop there. In 2015, she helped seven of her personal enrollees advance their businesses to Director or above and in the process, she grew her organisation by over 300 customers. For some of you, this may seem like a huge undertaking but Bj has some very wise advice: “I am no different to anyone who wants to build a Melaleuca business; I control what I can control, how many approaches I make and who I work with. Success comes from doing the same things, over and over again and getting better at doing those things.”

Caring about other people and doing the simple things really, really well has always benefitted Bj, but in 2016 everything has aligned for her allowing her life to get even better. We celebrated her Executive Director 4 advancement in January 2016 at Road to Senior Director where her advancement bonus alone was over $17,000. At Convention 2016 she was awarded Marketing Executive of the Year which means she receives an expenses paid trip to Melaleuca’s North American Convention in Salt Lake City. Before then however, as the winner of much coveted International Presidents Club

Bj will be whisked away for a Luxury escape to the Maldives in May. What an amazing year she has ahead! Bj is also incredibly excited about the compensation plan enhancements announced at Convention. In particular, the Leadership Growth Bonus could see Bj earning almost $50,000 per year in additional income and the Core Mentoring Bonus is set to pay her an additional $30,000 if she repeats last year’s results. We are very confident that this year could see Bj enter the $1 Million earners club and have another awesome year at Melaleuca.

Bj is a very special leader but she is by no means super-human. She simply has a strong desire to change her life and help others. I urge you to take on board her advice: “Become an expert approacher and really help people get the life they dream of.” If you do this, perhaps next year you will be Marketing Executive of the Year, enjoying a trip to the North American Convention and a wonderful President’s Club cruise to Barcelona, the French Riviera and Monaco! You can do it but, like Bj, you must believe you can.

to get to know one another a little better. What a stunning location, we were enclosed in a glass-walled boardroom with 360 degree views of the island and surrounding ocean. It was the perfect setting to reflect on the qualifiers lives and dream a little about their futures. Their stories were told openly and honestly, they were inspirational and served to bring the group closer for the rest of our time on the island. After a good lunch and some free time by the pool, that evening we embarked upon what I think was the highlight of all the highlights on the trip. We boarded a beautiful yacht and were escorted to the top deck for the perfect dining experience. Drifting along to the sound of lightly crashing waves we enjoyed an exquisite dining experience under the stars. The Captain and his staff treated us like royalty while we let our hair down and had a really fun time with the team. Words cannot do justice to this night, it was a fun time I will remember forever. On Sunday, we rose early, enjoyed breakfast by the pool and then set off to the pontoon for

It’s almost impossible to explain what a beautiful part of the world the Whitsunday region is. It has that perfect warm, humid, holiday climate; world-class luxury resorts, restaurants and activities; and stunning scenery. It’s the perfect place to de-stress and celebrate your hard work Oh boy! We did this in style! The fun began as soon as we got off the plane. Private cars are not allowed on the island so you get around on foot or by golf buggy. To familiarise ourselves with the island and have a few mocktails and ice creams along the way, we started our activities with a golf buggy treasure hunt, won with style by the Director 7 divas Kirsty Bonner and Alexis Shuttlewood. In the evening, we celebrated their triumph over a delicious alfresco dinner at the Manta Ray restaurant. The company, the stories, the food and the fun made this the perfect start to an amazing trip. On Saturday morning we headed down to the Hamilton Yacht Club for a morning of training and networking but mostly for an opportunity

The anticipation and excitement were high on our way to Hamilton Island. Joining us were ten hard working, wonderful people, our Peak Performance Fast Track qualifiers and oh, what fantastic company they made. This was a once in-a-lifetime trip that

another exciting day at sea. Aboard “The Edge” catamaran we experienced fast (at times very fast) sailing on the high seas – exhilarating! After a few hours cruising through the islands, we set anchor just off the world renowned Whitehaven beach. It’s a place of such extraordinary natural beauty it almost seems too perfect to be true. We spent several hours on the beach mostly in disbelief of where we were. It was incredible just to sit back in the ocean and spend time thinking about the future and the possibilities it holds. That evening, during our farewell dinner we talked discussed the trip. Alexis Shuttlewood explained it best, “Money cannot buy a trip like this, even if you came here you wouldn’t be here with the same motivated, awesome people.” She continued, “It’s all about the memories and the memory I have of this trip I will never forget.” I think you all deserve a memory like this and I can’t wait to help you experience one on Melaleuca’s next Fast Track to Fiji. As a result of their hard work and commitment to the plan, Diane earned $12,432.42 and Tanya earned $10,763.14 in their first 90 days.” Pretty remarkable! For Bj, it really is about helping others live a healthy quality lifestyle and being there to help her leaders achieve what they are capable of. “This is a business where you are your own CEO of your company. You set your store hours and who comes through your door. The action and result is what you put into it. There are ups and downs, and I have learned to focus on what I can control. I have learned to manage my time and work with those who really want to be successful. In the past perhaps I have wanted it more than that particular leader, or really believed in someone when they did not believe in themselves. I focus on what I learned from Corporate Director 3, Mark Atha. I will put in exactly what you put in!” As a result, Bj has helped seven personal enrollees advance their business to Director or beyond in 2015, but at the end of the day Bj is most grateful for all her customers and Marketing Executives in her business. “The fact they have believed in Melaleuca and their enrollers to try these amazing products. If it were not for these exceptional products, I would not have a business that is where it is today. It’s so important for everyone who enrols to see why these products are different and how they differentiate Melaleuca.” Having just received the news of her Executive Director 4 advancement at January 2016 Road to Senior Director, her year is off to a fabulous start! “Its just the news I needed to really verify all my hard work paid off in 2015. I am excited about the New Year and recent enhancements Melaleuca has made to the New Day Compensation Plan. Specifically the fact you are rewarded for helping your personals enrolments be successful, there has never been a better time to team up and help everyone succeed.” With this year’s Convention theme Perform at Your Peak , I plan to really get behind it and give my all in 2016. The way I look at it, I have two options. I can either do enough to get by and have that duplicate within my team, or I can choose to give my best to everyone, every month encouraging my team to do the same. I can only imagine the difference in what the result will be.”

Mixed with joy, excitement and tears of happiness, the journey has been well worth it for Bj. She enrolled in August 2004, and ten years later is continuing to see her business thrive and advance. With the support of her two boys and father who is quite ill, Bj made it a point in 2015 to elevate her business by helping her team achieve their goals. “The theme for 2015 was New Day and it really resonated with me. Why could it not be a New Day for my team and I? I made the decision early on in the year to go all in, and focus on the activities that will help my business grow – Critical Activities One and Two . As a result, I have helped now personal Director 8 Diane Alca and her personal Director 7, Tanya Weiden move their business that much closer to Senior Director. I fell in love with both of them and made their reasons for needing to be successful with Melaleuca part of my own”. I had always heard Corporate Director 8, Alan and Sandra Pariser talk about finding a running mate, and they were so right!

put her off several times but when I eventually let her show me the Delivering Wellness Overview, the timing was perfect.” Yvette continues, “I am so glad she was persistent. Melaleuca has changed our lives. In fact, Melaleuca has allowed us to dust off our goals and turn them into reality.” Recently, Yvette and Justin became the very, very proud owners of ten acres of beautiful land! Next on the shopping list is their dream home which they hope to build very soon with residual income from their Melaleuca business. It’s not just what you can buy with your Melaleuca income, it’s also the life it allows you to live. Yvette has recently reduced her working week to just one day (How nice would that be?) Which gives her extra time to enhance the lives of her team by helping them reach their goals. Yvette is very passionate about giving others financial freedom, she says, “Some of my team want to achieve Director 3, some Senior Director but irrespective of their goal, my job is to make certain they achieve it. What makes this work so rewarding is that you help people achieve their dreams every single day.” Above all else, Melaleuca affords Yvette the ability to do her most important job even better. “At the end of the day what matters most to me is my family”, she says “I now have the flexibility to be at all my children’s sports, special occasions and school events. I am blessed I am able to be there for them and watch them grow, being the best mum I can be makes me very happy and Melaleuca has made that possible.”

What a year 2015 was for Yvette and Justin Brewin. They advanced their business six times, ultimately achieving Senior Director 5 in November. In such a short period of time, they have earned well over $100,000 and their residual income is now approximately $4,500 per month. They are well on their way to total financial freedom but their financial situation wasn’t always this way. Describing life before Melaleuca Yvette says, “We were down and out as to how we were ever going to get ahead. Ecosense products were so great to use, the penny dropped and she became excited about sharing them with her friends and family. She started to see how Melaleuca could cover her expenses and – better still – help her achieve her life goals all by helping other people! This concept of earning an income by helping people become healthier and wealthier ignited a passion in Carole: “I became determined to improve people’s health and their income just like I had done and I really began to enjoy it – it was so rewarding!” When Carole advanced to Director 3, she took a moment to reflect on her business and think about what she could do, “I made the decision in January 2015 that this had to be my year. My WHY was the strongest it had ever been, so I committed to a 90 day game plan to advance my business.” She teamed up with Yvette, and stayed accountable to her plan “It was the best thing I’ve ever done – making a plan and seeing it through” says Carole. “I enrolled 20 new customers and developed two personally enrolled Directors in 90 days! If I hadn’t made this decision and committed to this plan, I wouldn’t have found my personal Director, business partner and now very good friend Hayley Cogswell.” She duplicated the plan and activity with Hayley and helped her advance to Director 6 rapidly, while personally advancing no less than six times in 2015 herself! In December 2015, Carole succeeded in making 2015 ‘her year’ when she received the news she had surpassed her Senior Director goal and achieved Senior Director 2! Carole accepted her framed certificate and flowers in front of the graduating class at 2016 Road to Senior Director training in January. “I still have to pinch myself sometimes! I am so grateful to Melaleuca for the wonderful life I now have. A life where I will retire financially free and be able to travel and enjoy life. I can see myself doing this well into retirement because - unlike most jobs - Melaleuca is fun, it's a lifestyle and I love it way too much to ever stop.”

Before enrolling with Melaleuca, Carole Sellar worked 60 hours a week as a domestic house cleaner: “There were days where I seriously wondered whether this is as good as it would get,” says Carole. “Was this what I was going to do for the rest of my life? There were things I wanted to do with my life and I knew I was capable of so much more.” Recognising Carole’s desire to change her life, her dear friend, Senior Director 5 Yvette Brewin approached her with the Melaleuca business opportunity: “Yvette told me there was a way to supplement my income using amazing non-toxic products.
