PEKARSTVO P eka kruha je bila pomembna panoga domače obrti na Slovenskem. S peko so zadovoljevali potrebe mestne gospode. Vsa mesta in večji kraji, razen nekaj izjem, so imela svojo pekarno, kruh pa so prodajali tudi na tržnici. Prodajalke kruha so imenovali krušarice, ponekod tudi jajčarice, saj so poleg kruha prodajale na mestnih tržnicah tudi jajca in perutnino.
BREAD MAKING B read making was a very important branch of domestic crafts in Slovenia. Bakers made bread to satisfy the needs of the urban nobility. Apart from a few exceptions, each city or a bigger town had their own bakery. They sold their bread at the bakeries as well as at the local marketplaces. Women who sold bread were called “krušarice”, in some places also “jajčarice” (which translates to egg-sellers), since they often sold eggs and poultry, as well as bread.
