The City of Clarence-Rockland wishes to remind all hunters and firearm enthusiasts that there is a municipal by-law (By-law No. 2007-02) regulating the discharge of firearms within the limits of the City. For public safety, we are asking for your collaboration in respecting the municipal by-law regulating the discharge of firearms. Prière de placer vos ordures régulières (3 items) et matières recyclables sur un côté de votre entrée et vos gros objets/rebuts de l’autre côté. Please note that the special collection will be done on the same day as your garbage collection. Your regular garbage (3 items) and recyclable products should be placed on the same side of your entrance and your heavy items/rubbish should be placed on the other side. YOUR WASTE WILL BE PICKED UP IN REASONABLE QUANTITIES NO MORE THAN 4’x8’x4’ HIGH. ANY QUANTITY EXCEEDING THESE DIMENSIONS WILL NOT BE PICKED UP. THE METAL MUST BE PLACED APART BECAUSE IT WILL BE PICKED UP SEPARATELY.

Toute autre enseigne doit être installée sur une propriété privée. Les enseignes qui sont placées dans l’emprise des voies publiques ou qui sont attachées aux enseignes de la route appartenant à la Cité, sur les arbres, les clôtures, etc, seront enlevées. Avant d’installer une enseigne, vous devez communiquer avec le Service de l’aménagement du territoire au 613 446-6022, poste 2260 afin d’assurer que la taille et l’emplacement respectent le Règlement sur l’affichage et afin de déterminer si un permis est requis. BY-LAW ENFORCEMENT NOTICE FOR ROADSIDE SIGNS
The City of Clarence-Rockland wishes to remind business owners and individuals that only road signs placed by the Physical Services are allowed within the boundaries of the road allowances.
All other signs must be placed on privately owned properties. Signs placed within the public road allowances or attached to City owed road signs, trees, fences, etc, will be removed. Before placing any sign, please contact the Planning Department at 613 446-6022, ext. 2260 to ensure that the size and location complies with the Signs’ by-law as well as to determine if a permit is required. The Signs’ by-law (2012-35) is also available on the City’s website at www.clarence-rockland.com.
