Your Journey Together is a strength-based, trauma-sensitive curriculum designed to support the social and emotional well- being of children and families. This workshop empowers parents and caregivers to create safe, trusting, and healing home environments,critical foundations for resilience and long-term success. While the YJT curriculum is especially beneficial for families with infants, toddlers, and preschoolers, its core concepts are relevant and applicable to families with children of all ages. Parents will learn practical strategies to nurture emotional development, foster connection, and build a sense of safety and trust within the family. This workshop provides school districts with a valuable opportunity to support parents in developing trauma- informed, emotionally supportive homes that strengthen both children and caregivers.

The collaborative approach to IEP meetings involves the shared responsibility of all stakeholders. Parents/guardians, students, general education teachers, special education teachers, administrators, and other professionals work t6ogether to draft the IEP, set meaningful goals and provide the necessary support for the student’s success. Ongoing collaboration and communication are key to ensuring that the IEP goals are met and the student reaches their full potential.

Intended Audience

Special education teachers, general education teachers, administrators, school psychologists, and speech- language pathologists.
