Trust-Based Relational Intervention® (TBRI®) Caregiver Training SOCIAL/EMOTIONAL SUPPORTS

Participants will be trained in Trust-Based Relational Intervention® (TBRI®) from the Karyn Purvis Institute of Child Development. This 3-day training will offer educators with a better understanding of trauma-invested practices and will be better equipped to meet the needs of all children in their care. TBRI® is an attachment-based, evidence-based, and trauma-informed intervention that is designed to meet the complex needs of vulnerable children. TBRI® uses Connecting Principles for attachment needs, Empowering Principles to address physical needs, and Correcting Principles to disarm fear-based behaviors.

Intended Audience

Educators, special education teachers, general education teachers, paraprofessionals, counselors, and other service providers.

Trust-Based Relational Intervention® (TBRI®) is an attachment-based, trauma-informed intervention that is designed to meet the complex needs of vulnerable children. While the intervention is based on years of attachment, sensory processing, and neuroscience research, the heartbeat of TBRI® is connection. This training will provide a brief overview of TBRI® practices.

Educators, special education teachers, general education teachers, paraprofessionals, counselors, and other service providers.
