Participants will be trained in Trust-Based Relational Intervention® (TBRI®) from the Karyn Purvis Institute of Child Development. This 4-day training will offer educators with a better understanding of trauma-invested practices and will be better equipped to meet the needs of all children in their care. TBRI® is an attachment-based, evidence-based, and trauma-informed intervention that is designed to meet the complex needs of vulnerable children. Trust-Based Relational Intervention® (TBRI®) is an attachment-based, trauma-informed intervention that is designed to meet the complex needs of vulnerable children. While the intervention is based on years of attachment, sensory processing, and neuroscience research, the heartbeat of TBRI® is connection. This training will provide a brief overview of TBRI® practices.
