تُبنـى لوحـة الألـوان علـى معيـار لا يقبـل التنـازل فـي الجـودة أو الصفـاء. فالعقيــق الأزرق يتــوّج الأجنحــة العلويــة للفراشــة، بدرجــات مُختــارة بتـأن بالـغ، يعكـس عمقًــا لونيًــا متجانسًــا وغنيًــا. ويقابلـه العقيـق الأخضـر فــي تفاصيــل الأوراق، بدرجــة نقــاء ولمعــان توحــي بحيويــة الطبيعــة فـي أوج نضارتهـا. ولإضفــاء تبايــن أكثــر رهافــة، تُصــاغ أزهــار البرقــوق وبراعــم زنبــق الــوادي مــن عــرق اللؤلــؤ الأبيــض، المعــروف ببريقــه النــادر وانعكاســاته الهادئــة التــي تتبــدل مــع الحركــة. وتلتقــي هــذه العناصــر جميعًــا تحــت دفء الذهـب الأصفـر، المشـغول بتقنيـة “الصـب بالشـمع المفقـود” ليمنح السـطوح ملمسًــا حيًــا يـكاد يُحاكـي مـا تجـود بـه الطبيعـة. ويخلق حضور العقيــق الأزرق وحجــر الــلازورد تباينًــا بديعًــا مــع الذهــب، فــي توليفــة

This is mirrored in the use of green agate for the delicate foliage, chosen specifically for a brilliant, even hue that suggests lush, healthy vitality. To provide a soft contrast, the plum blossoms and lily-of-the-valley buds are crafted from white mother-of-pearl, prized for its rare lustre and the subtle reflections that shimmer as the wearer moves. These elements are all unified by the warmth of yellow gold, worked through ancestral lost-wax casting to achieve a rich, organic texture. The use of blue agate and lapis lazuli provides a striking contrast to the gold, a combination that feels both “seventies-chic” and timelessly elegant. Every piece is finished with the maison’s signature double beaded contour, a delicate gold trim that catches the light from every angle.
تســتحضر أناقــة الســبعينيات، وتحافــظ علــى طابــع كلاســيكي راقٍ. وتُختتــم كل قطعــة ببصمــة الــدار الخاصــة، وهــي الحافــة الذهبيــة المزدوجــة، المزينــة بحبيبــات دقيقــة تلتقــط الضــوء حيثمــا انســاب. قصيدة جمال تنبض بالحركة لعـل أكثـر فصـول هـذا التجديـد طموحًــا هـو دخـول المجموعــة إلــى عالــم صناعــة الســاعات. فســاعة “ليــدي لاكــي ســبرينغ باترفــلاي” تُعــد القلــب النابــض لمجموعــة “بويتيــك كومبليكايشــنز”، حيــث لا يُقــاس الوقــت بالدقائــق بقــدر مــا يُــروى مــم 33 كالحكايــة. تحتضــن هــذه التحفــة بقطــر حركــة ميكانيكيــة ذاتيــة التعبئــة، تحــوّل المينــاء إلــى مســرح تفاعلــي. مــرور الوقــت هنــا يُترجــم عبــر تقنيتيــن: الدقائــق الارتجاعيــة والقفــز السّــاعي. ومــع تقــدّم الدقائــق، تتحـرّك فراشـة بأجنحـة مفتوحـة علـى قـوس مـن الأزهــار، بإيقــاع تدريجــي هــادئ. وعنــد لحظــة اكتمـال السـاعة، “تقفـز” الفراشـة فجـأة إلـى نقطـة البدايــة، لتبــدأ رحلتهــا مــن جديــد. أمــا المينــاء، فهــو عــرض متقــن لفنــون الحِرفــة، حيــث يتجلّــى عــرق اللؤلــؤ الأبيــض المحفــور بنقــوش “غيوشــيه” بلــون أزرق عميــق، ويؤطّــره ألمــاس عالــي الجــودة. وحتــى الجهــة الخلفيــة لا تخلــو مــن ســحرها، إذ تنكشــف كحديقــة خفيّــة، تضــم ثقــلا ذهبيًــا محفــورًا وزخــارف زهريــة مــن المينــا، تظهــر مــن خــلال زجــاج الياقــوت.

POETRY IN MOTION Perhaps the most ambitious part of this reinvention is the entry of the collection into the world of horology. The Lady Lucky Spring Butterfly watch is a centrepiece of the Poetic Com- plications line. In the world of Van Cleef & Arpels, telling the time is secondary to telling a story. This 33-mm masterpiece features a self-winding mechanical movement that trans- forms the dial into a living stage. The passage of time is narrated through two distinct technical feats: retrograde minutes and jumping hours. As the minutes tick by, an open-winged butterfly advances gradually along a semi-circle of blossoms. At the exact moment a new hour begins, the butterfly “jumps” back to its starting position, ready to begin its journey along the dial once again. The dial itself is a masterclass in métiers d’art, featuring guilloché white mother-of-pearl painted a deep blue and framed by diamonds of the highest calibre. Even the back of the watch is a secret garden, with an engraved gold oscillating weight and enamel floral motifs
visible through the sapphire glass. THE EVOLUTION OF AN ICON
Why does the butterfly continue to flutter through the Van Cleef & Arpels workshops af- ter twelve decades? Because it represents the ultimate challenge for a jeweller: capturing weightlessness. Over the years, the maison has interpreted this motif through every pos- sible lens. In the 1930s, they applied the Mystery Set technique - patented in 1933 - to give butterfly wings a velvety, uninterrupted radiance without visible prongs. In the 1970s, they embraced the “hippie” spirit with stylised, long-chain pendants. Today, in the Lucky Spring collection, the butterfly is more figurative, its gold antennae and polished body testifying to the brand’s attention to the smallest details.
