• This can range from a classroom in use for a half hour meeting to a drama production being rehearsed and staged in the dining hall over four months. • Manage events from the initial booking enquiry to post event review liaising with the catering dept. to give an excellent outcome. • There will be a small requirement for weekend and evening working as necessary to support School events including the Open Morning and the Careers Fair.
External Lettings of School Property

• This can range from an hour volleyball training session to a four day theatre production for disabled children to a wedding reception. Requests from external organisations are required in writing giving full details and are to be sanctioned by the Estates Director, Bursar or Headmaster.

New Enterprises

• Working closely with the Headmaster • oversee the newly started Summer Club and proposed Revision Clubs. • consider and arrange new enterprise opportunities. 10. Residential Accommodation Lettings • Manage this from the listing of accommodation, initial requests, approval by the Headmaster to proceed, letting agreements to the tenant moving out checks and accommodation maintenance. 11. Inspections • Carry out weekly inspections of the School estate to highlight safety, condition and cleanliness issues and take the appropriate remedial action.
12. Health & Safety (H&S) & Compliance
• Develop and implement processes, procedures and systems to ensure the Dept. meets its H&S obligations.
•
Carry out certain roles within fire evacuations etc.
• Work with the Estates Director to ensure that the site meets all requirements under the Independent Schools Standards Regulations and ensure preparedness for an inspection.
