The Crossroads LGBTQ+ Support Service aims to deliver mental and physical health support and activities to carers aged 50+ from LGBTQ+ community and expand delivery to all 6 towns of Sandwell. The project actively encouraging community befriending/ building relationships/ peer to peer mentoring with access to the Crossroads LGBTQ+ WhatsApp group. Co-production activities through the LGBTQ+ Carer Forum with our unpaid carers who will also help design/reinvent the activity and interest-based projects, including group-based sessions e.g. walking groups.

Decca (Drug Education, Counselling and Confidential Advice) offers 1-to-1 counselling, and other services are available for drug and substance misuse for young people up to 18. Our counselling approach is tailored to each individual and you can access this by a self-referral or by being referred by a professional.

The project also aims to create a community-led initiative to address specific health challenges, reduce social isolation, and empower participants to access essential services.

This project offers free yoga for adults aged 18+ and art sessions for adults aged 50+ from the LGBTQ+ community living in Sandwell each month.

Yoga Classes will take place on the 1st Tuesday of the month from 7pm to 8pm and will be led by a trained Yoga instructor. The monthly art classes will take place on the 2nd Thursday of each month, 10.30am to 12.30pm.
