NOTICE OF PUBLIC MEETING OFFICIAL PLAN FIVE-YEAR REVIEW / UPDATE
AVIS EST DONNÉ que la Cité de Clarence-Rockland tiendra une réunion publique à propos de la révision quinquennale du Plan officiel de l’aire urbaine de la Cité de Clarence-Rockland. Une réunion extraordinaire du conseil aura lieu le 15 janvier 2020 à 19h dans la salle du conseil afin de présenter la révision quinquennale et pour discuter des révisions qui peuvent s’imposer. DATE: Mercredi 15 janvier 2020 TIME: 19h PLACE: Cité de Clarence-Rockland, 415, rue Lemay, Clarence Creek, Ont. L’article 26(1) de la Loi sur l’aménagement du territoire exige que les plans officiaux soient révisés et mis à jour à chaque cinq ans. Le Plan officiel de la Cité de Clarence- Rockland fut approuvé en novembre 2013. La révision quinquennale du Plan officiel de la Cité de Clarence-Rockland mettra à jour les buts, objectifs, politiques et cédules du Plan officiel existant en conformité avec les politiques provinciales et la Loi sur l’aménagement du territoire L.R.O 1990, dans sa forme modifiée. Le conseil tiendra en compte toutes les observations écrites sur les révisions pouvant s’imposer et offre à quiconque qui assiste à la réunion extraordinaire l’occasion d’être entendu à ce sujet. Des formulaires de commentaire seront fournis lors de la réunion publique. Les personnes intéressées peuvent également soumettre leurs commentaires écrits directement au Département d’infrastructures et aménagement du territoire en tout temps pendant la révision. TAKE NOTICE that the City of Clarence-Rockland will hold a meeting with respect to the five-year review process for its “Official Plan of the Urban Area of the City of Clarence-Rockland”. A special meeting of council to introduce the five-year review and to discuss the revisions that may be required will be held on January 15, 2020 at 7 p.m ., in Council Chambers of City Hall. DATE: Wednesday, January 15, 2020 TIME: 7 p.m. PLACE: City of Clarence-Rockland, 415 Lemay Street, Clarence Creek, Ont. Section 26(1) of the Planning Act , requires that official plans be reviewed and updated not less frequently than every five years. The City of Clarence-Rockland’s present Official Plan was enacted back in November 2013. The City of Clarence-Rockland Official Plan Five Year Review will update and refine the goals, objectives, policies and schedules of the existing Official Plan in keeping with Provincial Policies and the Planning Act R.S.O. 1990, Chapter P.13 , as amended. Council will have regard to any written submissions about what revisions may be required and will give any person who attends the special meeting an opportunity to be heard on that subject. Comment forms will be provided at the Public Meeting. Interested persons may also make additional written submissions directly to the Infrastructure and Planning Department at any time during the review.
