Course Content: The importance of accepting individuals, regardless of their race, culture, language, religious affiliation, gender, socio- economic background or physical challenges is essential in today’s culture and workplace.
Course Goals: After successful completion of this course, participants will be able to:
Ascertain understanding of the dimensions of diversity and cultural constraints in the workplace Develop an awareness of diversity and understand the concept of cultural competency Recognize their own cultural viewpoints and how these attitudes impact their ability to interact with different cultures and socio-economic backgrounds Discuss ways to bridge differences between people of diverse cultures and background
