JOB DESCRIPTION
Purpose Reporting to the Group Director Estate Development, the post holder will provide strategic leadership on all cost management, programme and contractual matters within Estate Development, a technically complex and dynamic environment. With a capital spend over the next period in excess of £430m it is vital that the forecasting and management of costs and expenditure is exemplary and that procurement methods provide maximum value for money. The post holder will oversee the delivery of activities, processes and systems on complex projects. He/she will develop and implement a strategic plan to ensure provision of a robust and comprehensive cost reporting and contract management service, for all projects from inception through to completion. The post holder will work collaboratively with the wider team playing a lead role in overseeing cash flow forecasts and analysing procurement plans.
