Les services communautaires de La Cité ont créé un comité de sept citoyens de la région, qu’ils ont rencontré trois fois avant de décider la liste des travaux prioritaires. Les sept membres de ce comité sont des utilisateurs réguliers du parc et plusieurs d’entre eux ont éga- lement participé lors de l’aménagement initial du parc.
The Clarence-Rockland Public Library raised $5,000 during its first annual Once Upon a Time event, held on Saturday, May 12. The money raised will go towards creating well equipped and effective spaces in the library for all members of the community. A donation will also be made to the Breast Health Center of the Ottawa Hospital. Des travaux d’amélioration au Parc Naturel Lavigne sont prévus pour l’automne 2018. On prévoit, entre autres, ajouter de 20 à 25 espaces de stationnement supplé- mentaires. Les sentiers actuels seront modifiés et améliorés avec l’ajout de pon- ceaux et de travaux de terrassement. On prévoit également construire un pavillon ou un abri pour créer un endroit où les gens pourront s’asseoir et se rassembler. Actuellement, la signalisation sur les sentiers, dans le stationnement du parc et en bordure des rues principales est vieille et rare. Le plan, entre autres, comprend une meilleure signalisation routière, ce qui offrira plus de publicité pour le parc, et l’aménagement de plans du parc, pour en faciliter l’accès.
La Bibliothèque publique de Clarence-Rockland a amassé 5000 $ lors de son premier évènement annuel Il était une fois , qui a eu lieu le samedi 12 mai. Improvements to the Lavigne Nature Park in Bourget are planned for the fall of 2018. The project includes expansion of the parking lot, widening and upgrading of walking trails, construction of a covered area, additional park signage, and more publicity for park activities. —archives
