Specific Responsibilities
Specific Operational Responsibilities: • Delivery of technology enhanced learning and teaching operations for future programmes, including but not limited to the VLE, Media & Print group. • Support pedagogical engagement, development of teaching practice and the student learning experience within the digital context. • Collaborate and work extensively with senior leaders and academic and professional colleagues across the University to determine and deliver operational needs and service delivery solutions of media & technology enhanced learning through various models of delivery. • Delivery of programme prototypes, operational processes (templates) and support staff training and enablement. • Delivery of realistic and achievable production schedules, including effective management of all resources • Key liaison with technology enhanced learning suppliers, including but not limited to VLE, Media and Print specialists. • Delivery of central admin systems, compliance, process and procedures for the Media & Technology Enhanced operations group, and adhering to best practices in all production and operational areas, including but not limited to: • Agile project management principles • Inclusive design principles • Sustainability across all operational delivery areas • Maintenance of media production equipment, stock control, security • Copyright clearance and purchase; production insurance agreements and production invoicing and ledgers • Health and Safety of filming and production within the Multi Media Unit, all building and office based health and safety • Continuous performance improvement in terms of production and technology enhanced learning operational services
