Zyzak is a graduate of New England Conservatory of Music and performs on a 1778 Joseph and Antonio Gagliano violin. Sekino completed her Doctor of Musical Arts at Peabody Conservatory of the Johns Hopkins University and is currently Associate Professor of Piano at East Carolina University.

Gloucester Arts Festival June 2026

Celebrate a Decade of Art this June at the Gloucester Arts Festival, a month-long showcase of creativity across Gloucester, Virginia. Beginning June 5, the festival features the Plein Air Invitational, where nationally recognized artists paint throughout the county. Signature events include Brews, Brine & Wine, Paint Main, Symphony Under the Stars, the Mathews Paint

Paint Out, Arts at Abingdon, and Village Arts Day, alongside exhibitions, concerts, and family-friendly experiences. The invitational culminates with the Plein Air Gala at the Fine Arts Museum of Gloucester. Festivities continue through the month with special programs, screenings, and the It’s a Wrap Party— bringing together art, community, and ten years of creative impact.
