Parents with young children who have a concern for the spiritual growth of their family members are always looking for material to help them establish and further devotion al times together. Obviously this is one of the avowed purposes behind the well known “ Story lady’s” efforts. Helpfully the material is prepared with the “ talk-about” format which encourages individual discussion. The main portions of the book deal with stories of the beginning, Joseph, Moses, and Christmas with additional helpful material on Easter. One fea ture which adds greatly to the book’s usefulness is that it is written to be read aloud. The book will rank with other outstanding missionary biographies of our day. Young people should be urged to read it for it reveals the power of Christ and the triumph of righteousness.
