Clean Up day - Batterie de L’Harmonie

As part of a team-building activity, a clean-up campaign was organised for employees from the retail outlets at Batterie L’Harmonie. Special attention was given to waste segregation throughout the activity. The recyclable wastes, including plastic bottles, glass and aluminium cans, were carefully sorted and placed in the appropriate recycling bins. One of the highlights of the initiative was the reuse of our paint buckets, which were used to facilitate waste collection. The initiative was carried out with the support of the Rivière Noire District Council, which assisted Sofap with the disposal of non-recyclable waste.

Zero Waste Week Sale of Reusable Items and DIY Ingredients Local entrepreneurs and businesses operating in the zero-waste sector were invited to showcase and sell their products to Sofap employees. This initiative aimed to raise awareness of practical alternatives to single-use products and demonstrate how individuals can adopt a more sustainable and low- waste lifestyle through accessible everyday solutions. Employees had the chance to explore a large variety of sustainable products—from reusable bags by He-co and DIY cleaning solutions by Wellbeing Dodo Baba Ltd, to stylish stainless-steel flasks from Atlasware.
