Employee upcycled creations & workshop Since setting the ambition of becoming a zero waste organisation, more employees have started repurposing waste materials and giving them a second life. Sofap launched a call for upcycling talents, providing employees with an opportunity to showcase their creativity and skills in an exhibition featuring handcrafted items like coffee mug holders made from wooden pallets and lamp stands crafted from polystyrene and cement. Colleagues gained firsthand appreciation for these inventive solutions, discovering the potential hidden in everyday materials.
Employees also took part in an upcycling workshop led by their colleagues, collaborating to design and build a waste segregation bin using wooden pallets generated by the company.
