The COVID - 19 put a lot of pressure on the HR Partners to provide individual and communal support to departments regarding a myriad of policies, procedures, proclamations, changes to usual practice, and federal laws. Eric, Mike and Lorraine aren't always appreciated for the tenacity and grit they exhibit. They are often delivering information that employees and supervisors don't necessarily want to hear. Each of them has exhibited professionalism, tact, and fearlessness in their work. They have exhibited the Wildcat Way in so many circumstances. They deserve rounding thanks and congratulations for jobs well done during this very difficult time. Welcoming / Inclusive / Knowledgeable / Responsive / Proud Entire Human Resources Team It would be really difficult for me, as Executive Director of HR, to call out any one individual within our department. The HR Team has provided expertise, fore- thought, patience, and good judgement during the COVID - 19 crisis. I have never heard one person complain about the uncertainty. No one has responded with "we can't do that." Not one person has grumbled about the long hours or the ever - changing landscape. In fact, most are energized to find new ways of doing things, to identify and solve issues, to minister to individual employees as they make their journey. I believe they have supported each and every trait identified as the Wildcat Way! There's a Will Rogers quote, "In time of crisis people want to know that you care, more than they care what you know." That's the thing I am most proud of with our HR Team. They care about CWU and our employees. They all deserve recognition for their good work.
