EXHIBITION EXPLORATION
Our Year 7, Year 10 and VCE Art students recently visited the City of Whittlesea’s Annual Art Exhibition at PRACC, where they explored a diverse range of artworks inspired by the theme Belong. A highlight of the day was seeing one of our students purchase their first piece of artwork. The excursion provided a valuable opportunity for students to connect with the local arts community, gain creative inspiration and deepen their appreciation of the visual arts.
KEEPING WARM FOR A GREAT CAUSE! Our recent PJ & Winter Woolies Day was a great success, with students and staff across both the Primary and Secondary Campuses dressing in their warmest winter outfits to support a worthwhile cause. The day brought our school community together in a fun and positive way. Thank you to everyone who participated and donated. While the final amount raised is still being calculated, all funds will go towards purchasing equipment and resources to support student learning. We look forward to sharing the final total soon.
DRAW YOUR SELFIE - WINNERS ANNOUNCED
Congratulations to the winners of our Draw Your Selfie competition. A huge thank you to every student who picked up a pencil, paintbrush or marker and shared their creative self-portraits with us. We were delighted by the effort, imagination and artistic talent displayed across all entries. Congratulations to our prize winners: 1st Prize – Siena and Loran; 2nd Prize – Symphony and Macey; and 3rd Prize – Tyler and Akira. Their outstanding artworks impressed the judges with their creativity, attention to detail and personal expression We encourage families and community members to view the winning artworks, which are currently on display in the Primary Front Office. You can also see the students' wonderful creations on our school social media accounts.
