l Rehabilitation? l Present fitness? l Present suitability?
l The NIGC exercises regulatory oversight in relation to the issues of tribal gaming licenses. l TGRAs must notify NIGC of the issuance of a license as well as the denial of a license and it may object to the issuance of the license based on its own suitability analysis. l If the NIGC objects to the issuance of a gaming license, it will notify the TGRA of the objection. l The TGRA is then required to suspend the challenged license and conduct a hearing. l The TGRA’s decision after reconsideration is final.
