AUXILIARY SPACER PLATENS When the use of Auxiliary Spacer Platens becomes necessary to reduce the minimum daylight of the press, the importance of proper rigidity cannot be over- emphasized. The drawing shown here illustrates a typical installation that meets good rigidity requirements. The distance between the parallel spacer blocks is dependent on the location of the knock-out rods on the press.
