The Rockland Skating Club celebrates its 40th anniversary this year by pulling out all the stops with its annual Showcase event over the April 1st weekend. “We’ll have lots of great numbers,” said Head Coach Gail Malette. This year’s event, April 1st at the Clarence- Rockland Arena, includes Christian Reekie of the Gloucester Skating Club as guest per- former. Reekie is a member of the National Junior Skating Team and competed at last year’s Tallinn Cup ISU Jr. Grand Prix event in Estonia, earning a ninth-place finish against huge international competition.
