Support Bureau Accomplishments
Special Events and Emergency Response (SEER) conducted upgrades to the command truck. Tactical Intelligence Division Mental Health Unit created and continues to be expanded. Purchased and installed cameras and license plate readers that are monitored by the Real Time Crime Center.
Support Bureau Goals Implementation Progress Tactical Command
Auto Pound and Fleet Services Overall department fleet availability is 95.3%. Added one additional Electronic Technician to maintain the department’s fleet and install as- sociated minor equipment in vehicles. Explored acquiring a fleet maintenance and in- formation software to improve the efficiency of managing police vehicle inventory and police equipment installed in and transferred among police vehicles. Tactical Operations Division Special Response Teams programmed into pa- trol division facilities. K-9 Unit received accreditation by the National Detector Dog Association. Mounted Patrol worked with Patrol Divisions, in downtown, and on the Trinity Trails.
