Quand doit-on changer sa prothèse dentaire Autant les dents naturelles que les prothèses dentaires subissent de l’usure au fil du temps. Il est donc normal de devoir changer ses prothèses après un certain temps pour maintenir une bonne santé dentaire. Alors, comment savoir quand il est temps de remplacer son dentier? Voici des raisons et des pistes de réflexion qui vous aideront à déterminer quand vous devriez passer à l’action. Les signes Lorsqu’un patient vient me consulter pour une évaluation de sa prothèse dentaire, je regarde plusieurs aspects. En premier lieu, je vérifie s’il y a une instabilité à la base de la prothèse. Je regarde aussi l’usure de celle-ci puisqu’il arrive que le patient n’en soit même pas conscient. Je cherche aussi à voir s’il y a d’autres conditions anormales avec la prothèse. Il arrive que le patient ne se rende même pas compte que ses dents sont usées, car il a sa prothèse depuis si longtemps qu’il a oublié ce qu’est la sensation d’avoir des dents neuves! Alors avec cette information en main, quand est-il le temps d’opter pour une nouvelle prothèse dentaire? Éviter les problèmes à long terme Premièrement, si vous manquez de soutien, votre mâchoire se détériorera plus rapidement projetant ainsi votre menton vers l’avant. Cela peut entraîner de graves troubles de l’articulation temporomandibulaire qui affectent votre mâchoire. Deuxièmement, vous aurez de plus en plus de rides apparentes sur votre visage ce qui ne fait habituellement pas plaisir aux patients. Un autre facteur important à considérer est que plus vous gardez votre vielle prothèse longtemps et que vous vous y habituez, plus il sera difficile de changer par la suite. Il existe de nombreuses autres raisons pour passer à l’action qui peuvent être discutées avec un professionnel, mais ces informations vous donnent un début de réponse. Si vous n’avez encore aucune idée de quand il est temps de changer votre prothèse, je vous dirais que c’est habituellement entre 5 et 8 ans. Après ce délai, la majorité des prothèses deviennent nuisibles aux patients. Je vois souvent des patients qui ont une prothèse du haut de plus de 10 ans qui se disent confortables avec celle- ci. Toutefois une aussi longue période peut créer des problèmes à long terme, ce que l’on veut absolument éviter. Je comprends que plusieurs gens craignent le changement et repoussent ce moment. Je ne parle donc pas ici de faire des changements radicaux si ce n’est pas nécessaire, mais plutôt d’opter pour quelque chose de similaire à ce que vous avez déjà afin de stabiliser le tout et d’optimiser votre condition. Blue-sky weather and green fairways made a perfect scenario for the return of the St-Pierre Memorial golf tournament over the July 16 weekend. «It was absolutely amazing,» said Diane Lacroix, one of the organizers for the Rus- TFMM$VSMJOH$MVC+14U1JFSSF.FNPSJBM(PMG Tournament. «The weather was perfect,» she said. «People were ecstatic about being out together.» The golf tournament honours the memory of Jean-Paul St-Pierre, beloved mayor of Rus- sell Township, who died in October 2014. At the time he was campaigning for reelection. The club launched its memorial tourna- ment the following year and saw it become an increasingly popular summer sports event. The tournament was suspended in 2020 because of the pandemic. With the relaxation now of public healh restrictions against social gatherings the club has revived the tournament this year for its official sixth edition. Hiking has become an increasingly popular summer activity. However, the influx of inexperienced hikers on popular trails has led to various problems. Here are a few tips on how to be a considerate hiker. Respect nature Bring back all your garbage, including apple cores and other biodegradable materials. Also, make sure to stay on marked trails. If you stray off to create a shortcut or go around a puddle, you could trample fragile plants. You should also avoid picking up sand, flowers, rocks and other parts of nature. What’s more, don’t disturb or feed wild animals.

C'est avec tristesse que nous vous annonçons le décès de Jeannine Bouchard (née Bourgeois), de Sarsfield (Ontario). Jeannine est décédée paisiblement avec sa famille à ses côtés, le dimanche 10 juillet 2022, à l'âge de 84 ans. Épouse de feu Émile Bouchard. Chère fille de feu Noé Bourgeois et de feu Sonia Trudeau. Mère bien-aimée de Luc (Lucie Perras), Lyne (André Lebrun) et Josée (Christian Périard); grand-mère bien-aimée de Jérémie (Karine Marion), Annie (Jonathan Ménard), Préscille (Christopher Windle), Marc-André (Amélie- Anne Lalonde) et Gabrielle (Michelle Paquet) et l’arrière-grand-mère de Cédric, Daphnée, Charlie, Axel et Alex-Anne. Elle est survécue par sa sœur Thérèse et son frère Maurice (Suzelle Régimbal) et prédécédée par ses sœurs Lilianne (feu Raymond Vinette) et Claudette (Victor Fournier). Elle laisse aussi de très nombreux amis. Un merci bien spécial à Dr. Marc-Antoine Roy, Brigitte Desrochers et au personnel de l'Hôpital général de Hawkesbury, pour leur compassion et leurs soins attentionnés. NOTICE OF PUBLIC MEETING TAKE NOTICE that in accordance with Section 28 of the Planning Act, R.S.O. 1990 , as amended, the Municipality of Casselman will hold a Public Meeting for the purpose of discussing and obtaining feedback on the draft Community Improvement Plan (CIP) and the incentives it proposes therein.

LES BUTS ET EFFETS du Plan d’amélioration communautaire proposé sont de soutenir et de promouvoir la croissance et les investissements dans la municipalité de Casselman. Le Plan d’amélioration communautaire proposé fournira un ensemble de programmes d’incitation financière pour soutenir le développement, le redéveloppement et l’amélioration des industries et des commerces dans la municipalité de Casselman. TOUTE PERSONNE peut assister à la réunion publique et/ ou faire une représentation orale ou écrite pour appuyer ou s’opposer au plan proposé ci-haut. Dans l’éventualité où vous ne pouvez pas assister à la réunion et que vous souhaitez soumettre vos commentaires par écrit, veuillez vous assurer que ceux-ci soient livrés au bureau du greffier à l’adresse ici-bas avant la date de la réunion / SI UNE PERSONNE OU CORPS PUBLIC aurait autrement la capacité de faire appel de la décision de la municipalité de Casselman auprès du Tribunal d’appel de l’Ontario, mais que la personne ou le corps public ne présente pas de soumissions orales lors d’une réunion publique ou ne soumet pas de soumissions écrites à la municipalité de Casselman avant l’adoption du Plan d’amélioration communautaire proposé, la personne ou le corps public n’a pas le droit de faire appel de la décision. SI UNE PERSONNE OU CORPS PUBLIC ne présente pas de soumission orale à une rencontre publique ou ne fait pas de commentaire écrit à la municipalité de Casselman avant l’adoption du Plan d’amélioration communautaire proposé, la personne ou le corps public ne peut pas être ajouté comme partie à l’audience d’un appel devant le Tribunal de l’Ontario, à moins que, de l’avis du Tribunal, il existe des motifs raisonnables pour ajouter la personne ou le corps public comme partie. SI VOUS DÉSIREZ ÊTRE AVISÉ de la décision de la municipalité de Casselman concernant le Plan d’amélioration communautaire proposé, vous devez en faire la demande écrite à la municipalité.
THE PURPOSE AND EFFECT of the proposed Community Improvement Plan is to support and promote employment growth and investment in the Municipality of Casselman. The proposed Community Improvement Plan will provide a set of financial incentive programs to support development of industries and businesses in Casselman.
ANY PERSON may attend the Public Meeting and/or make written or verbal representation either in support of or in opposition to the proposed Community Improvement Project Area(s) and Community Improvement Plan.
IF A PERSON OR PUBLIC BODY does not make oral submissions at a public meeting or make written submissions to the Municipality of Casselman before the by-laws are passed, the person or public body may not be added as a party to the hearing of an appeal before the Ontario Land Tribunal unless, in the opinion of the Tribunal, there are reasonable grounds to do so. IF A PERSON OR PUBLIC BODY does not make oral submissions at a public meeting or make written submissions to the Municipality of Casselman before the proposed Community Improvement Plan is adopted, the person or public body may not be added as a party to the hearing of an appeal before the Ontario Tribunal unless, in the opinion of the Tribunal, there are reasonable grounds to add the person or public body as a party. IF YOU WISH TO BE NOTIFIED of the decision of the Municipality of Casselman on the proposed Community Improvement Plan, you must make a written request to the Municipality of Casselman, 751 rue St. Jean Street, C.P. /P.O. Box 710, Casselman, ON K0A 1M0.
