Trueline are an independent UK company who are leading innovators in the bead and fabrication industry for External Wall Insulation and Rendering. Trueline in-house production facilities include modern rolling lines, specialist fabrication equipment (for which we have a highly qualified design team) and its own powder coating plant. This allows us to produce a wide range of products and at the same time be in command of our lead times. We also offer an “on-site” measuring service to minimize the risk to our customers. Stop beads - Render
Stop beads are used at junctions of walls, ceilings and surrounds to openings. Trueline supply a wide range of external render beads from 3mm thick coatings. Where an N is shown the render beads can be supplied with a coloured uPVC cover nose to blend in with the render finish. We do recommend the use of our cover nose, on polyester powder coated galvanised beads, in order to prevent scratching of the finish.

Trueline offers a comprehensive range of movement beads. These are to be specified where substrates change, and for expanses of render greater than 10m. It permits a total movement of +-3mm. This bead can be hinged through 90° for internal corners. A peel off protective tape is applied to the expansion nose facilitating easy cleaning of the bead after rendering. System box base profiles - External wall insulation Trueline box base range is particularly suited to mineral fibre insulated systems. The width of the base track being slightly wider than the mineral fibre. The box base starter track can be supplied with a pressed-in drip flange. A more economical option is that it can be supplied with a loose uPVC clip-on nose to provide a finishing edge for 6, 10 or 15mm render. The profiles are normally supplied mill finish but can be polyester powder coated to improve the corrosion protection or coated to a particular colour for aesthetic purposes. Additionally the box profiles can be supplied with welded corners or as flexicurves for curved walls. The clip-on noses can be purchased separately.

WINDOW REVEAL BEADS
Window reveal beads - Render & External wall insulation
WINDOW REVEAL BEADS are manufactured from PVC and are used as a door or window reveal stop bead. It gives a crisp straight edge when finishing against the window frame. A compressible foam tape ensures a good seal when the bead is pressed up against the window frame. It has an adhesive strip for holding a protective film in place whilst rendering the wall. The adhesive strip is simply torn off when the job is completed.

Trueline sills have been developed to suit most conditions and detailed requirements for the weathering of external rendering and external wall insulation systems. We are able to provide sills with welded end caps and fixing lugs. The sill is then polyester powder coated to a colour of your choice. Everything is manufactured in-house ensuring the fastest turn around service. particular situation. These include high strength gap filling adhesive, fixing lugs, retention brackets and mechanical fixing. FINISH The copings can be polyester powder coated to a colour of your choice. FIXING The 3mm aluminium retaining straps must be securely fixed to the top of the wall at specified centres. A high strength gap filling adhesive is applied to the top of the retaining clips. The coping is then firmly pressed down over the retaining straps and clicked into place. The copings are then joined together with a joint clip and silicon sealed in place on site. Ensure when fixing that a gap of 3-6mm is left between lengths, in a continuous run, to allow for the thermal expansion of aluminium (23 x 10 -6 mm per ºC)

Gas & electrical duct boxes
An easy-to-fit system to cover exposed pipes in an insulated wall system. The gas covers have a punched louvre vent which prevents any build up of gases. The sides are simply fixed back to the wall and the cover is site fixed with security screws in position. Pre-fabricated corners and T sections are also available so that the system is completely sealed. We also offer a special top section, for horizontal pipes, which ensures water runs off the system. The electrical ducts are of a similar design but do not require the punched louvre vents. If the wires can be retrospectively installed then the backing can be made in one section. Made from aluminium it can be colour coated to a colour of your choice. It also can be easily cut to suit site conditions.

Surface-mounted compression units
Trueline’s surface mounted compression joint is ideally suited for timber framed buildings where there are large amounts of horizontal movement in the building. Both the top and base sections are manufactured from aluminium and adjacent sections are joined together with a joint clip, thus allowing for thermal expansion within the bead. Trueline’s surface mounted compression joint is supplied with fully welded corners so at no point can water penetrate the system at junctions. The upper section is supplied mill finish but the lower section can be powder coated to a colour of your choice. This system allows for a number of render thicknesses and this must be specified when ordering. When ordering the top and base sections are supplied together.

Full system compression joint
Trueline’s Full System Compression Joint is ideally suited for insulated systems. Both the top and base sections are manufactured from aluminium and adjacent sections are joined together with a joint clip. With the full system compression joint the top and bottom section are fixed back to the wall. Again this compression joint can be supplied with fully welded corners and end caps ensuring no breaks within the system. The gap has an EPDM foam strip applied to the lower section to ensure that water cannot be driven back into the system. The upper section is supplied mill finish but the lower section can be powder coated to a colour of your choice. This system allows for a number of render thicknesses and this must be specified when ordering. When ordering the top and base sections are supplied together as a set.

Thin coat render system onto render board on vented cavity system
The BRE recommend a drained and ventilated cavity. A drained and ventilated cavity offers a second line of defence against driving rain penetrating through cracks in the render. The top hat sections and other associated products will create a cavity behind a render system thus allowing air to circulate horizontally and vertically. The wall will then be able to breathe and remove any build up of moisture. A two part vented corner post and base rail are optional extras that are available for finishing around the edges of the system. These sections are manufactured from galvanized steel and are available in two standard widths.
