Provide feedback to the participants on their performance during the practical training
The participants shall:
Engage in practice on testing, replacing, and adjusting emergency unlocking of the lift door lock, share experiences, and apply the received feedback in following exercises
ELEMENT 9.3 - UPPER AND LOWER HATCHES
Learning objective:
57) The participants can show interest in how to do a visual inspection and ensure the function of the upper and lower hatches (Ability, basic level)
The instructor shall:
Present or demonstrate how to perform a visual inspection and replacement of the pins in the axes of the upper and lower hatches
Present or demonstrate how to inspect and replace the magnet system or latch on the upper hatch, and lead a discussion on challenges and the importance of their functions
Present or demonstrate how to inspect and replace the handle strings of the upper and lower hatches, and lead a discussion on challenges and the importance of the correct lengths of the strings
The participants shall:
Discuss how to do visual inspection on hatches, including pins in axes, handle strings and condition and operation of magnet systems, and the replacement of these
Discuss challenges and responsibilities in relation to ensuring the function of the upper and lower hatches
ELEMENT 9.4 - FORMATIVE POST-EVALUATION
The participants shall:
Conduct a short questionnaire test to recap the theory and safety issues from Lesson 9
