The aim of this lesson is to enable the participants to ensure the functionality of the traction hoist in accordance with the manuals and inspection lists.
After successfully having completed Lesson 13 of the Service Lift Installation, Inspection and Repair Module:
80) The participants can take responsibility of repairing, replacing and inspecting a traction hoist in a lift as guided in the manuals (Ability, intermediate level)
ELEMENT 13.1 - OPERATION HOUR COUNTER
Learning objective:
81) The participants can describe how to do an inspection of the traction hoist operation hour counter and rectify any issues following the relevant work instruction and lift maintenance manuals (Knowledge, basic level)
The instructor shall:
Present examples of traction hoist operation hour counters
Present examples of traction hoist operation hour counter issues, where rectifying action was needed
Lead or facilitate a discussion on how to inspect traction hoist operation hour counters
The participants shall:
Engage in discussions and share experiences on traction hoist operation hour counters, focusing on how to inspect and rectify
ELEMENT 13.2 - LABELS AND TYPE PLATES ON TRACTION HOIST
