The aim of this lesson is to enable the participants to install, inspect and ensure that the redirection pulleys are in accordance with the manuals and inspection lists.
After successfully having completed Lesson 14 of the Service Lift Installation, Inspection and Repair Module:
88) The participants can take responsibility for ensuring, that the re-direction pulleys are functioning as described in manuals and guides (Ability, intermediate level)
The instructor shall:
Lead or facilitate a discussion about risks and responsibilities related to redirection pulleys and on how to inspect redirecting pulleys in accordance with the manual
Facilitate practical training on how to install a wire into the redirecting pulleys and provide feedback on participants performance in accordance with the manual
The participants shall:
Engage in the practical training and exercises and the following discussions, share experiences on redirecting pulleys, and reflect on the received feedback FALL ARREST DEVICE (FAD)

The aim of this lesson is to enable the participants to install and inspect the fall arrest device (FAD) in accordance with the manuals and inspection lists to ensure its functionality
After successfully having completed Lesson 15 of the Service Lift Installation, Inspection and Repair Module:
89) The participants can take responsibility for inspecting the fall arrest device (FAD) and ensure its functionality as described in the manuals (Ability, intermediate level)
ELEMENT 15.1 - LABELS AND TYPE PLATES
Learning objective:
90) The participants can perform an inspection of labels and type plates on the FAD and replacement of labels when necessary, according to the manuals (Skills, intermediate level)
