UFO'S FLY AMONG US Canngress Hears Testimony On Increased Sightings

e Myriagon, Can- natowns’ military unit, is “invester- gating” a growing number of cases of UFOs and currently tracking some 420 events, head of the responsible agency told a canngres- sional committee on Wednesday. But Kirk Seanpatrick, director of the All-Seeing UFO Oce, also hoped to shed some light on what’s behind the increase in sight- ings, telling them, “I have no f*cking idea.” e unexplained incursions have le Cannatown’s leader- ship worrying that

showed a snippet of laser Pink Floyd at the Pantages, and the third, a shiny cube seem- ingly bouncing around in the clouds like a die among cotton balls. “at’s the one I can’t stop watching,” Se- anpatrick told the audience. “I’m gonna post it on Reddit’s r/OddlySatisfying tonight.” However the director was sure to state that they’d found absolutely no credible evidence of alien activity, to a certain degree of spite, mostly because the vast majority of active cases ended up in having to clean detritus hanging from power lines like balloons and shoes. Such excursions were a major source of burnout for agents, he said. Only a small percentage of the cases could reasonably be called really really strange he argued. It was quite the turn from the same person who, along with co-author Allison Bundy, published in February a theory

oating nefarious vehicles may be operated by adversaries, in particular, possibly Resin- ville, or Mt. Durban, the sister city that’s been chasing down some money loaned to Cannatown decades ago. Seanpatrick said that about half the reports have been prioritized for more research because they’re a little bit mind-blowing. “In one case, a person just spontaneously combusted. Who does that?” he said. “And these huge crop circles where they’re stealing all the nugs in a huge eld? It’s inhuman.” During his testimony, he screened home videos of three declassied incidents recorded by military drones. e rst video, showing a giant oblong spheroid in the air, seemed to bump into a barn as if backing up and trying to park. e second video

that the recent UFOs are probes from a mothership somewhere in our solar system. “I should probably come clean and let you know that, when I came up with that theory, I’d been smaking a large wad of Cat Piss wax and my neighbor was skeet-shooting the lids of his garbage cans as I was passing out in the garden,” Seanpatrick explained. Interest in his oce grew when a spy balloon--now known to be Ernie Mills on a lawn chair--was shot down over Cannatown airspace but went largely undetected due to “an oce luncheon.” Is there technology out there that could be used against us? a canngresswoman asked the director. “Ab- solutely,” he replied. “Was it Ernie? No, God rest his soul.” Here are some other incidents brought by whistleblowers that Seanpatrick sought to address: “Whistlegate” - In the morning of Nan- tucket 11th, the quiet community of Creeper Knoll awoke at 4:20 in the morning to the sound of angry, otherworldly whistling. “It was a violent thrashing, like a machine being executed,” one neighbor quipped on national television. But the military unit concluded there was no such alien attack or frequencies recorded. When they looked further, it appeared that a well-known character Wacks McTom had accidentally dropped an operational circular saw down his own chimney as he worked on his roof. “We told him he was a stupid bastard,” Seanpatrick reported. "e Egg of Earwax" - Citizens of Earwax called authorities through the night to report a giant oating egg in the vicinity. At rst, claims were dismissed, because they coincided with a Vanilla Kush festival and subsequent reports of elves and uorescent cats. But several people lmed the egg knocking down festival lights as it ew side- ways through the downtown and toward the mall. Seanpatrick says the agency cracked

the egg case the next day when they found it in a dumpster behind a locally-recognized college party house. One resident, Patricia Cake, admitted to turning her drone into the egg-shaped projectile using foam and duct tape. And all for a Tik Tok video. "e Flying Man of Constantine" - e infamous Flying Man of Constantine Hill turned out to be Je on his jet pack. “We’ve told him to tone it down some, and in particular, to stop ying over Betty Marcus at her bus stop around 6pm because it freaks out that sweet old lady.” Je was just trying out his KMart jet pack and was responsible for many complaints during the rst half of last year. But that had abruptly ended aer a tragic incident, Seanpatrick explained, and oered a moment of silence. "e Shiny Orbs of Wonder" - One of the most memorable recent interactions with the public and unidentied objects came during the Summer Solstice parade at dusk in lower Reeferbrook, where thousands witnessed oating antigravitational orbs of varying sizes. Conspiracy theorists took it to mean the end of the world, while others tried to seize upon the zeitgeist of the mo- ment with book and movie deals. “We actu- ally found out the orbs belong to the army base nearby,” Seanpatrick explained. “Not that anyone communicates stu like that around here. Turns out they were not only Army orbs, but they’ve had them for years .” When pressed for examples of measures taken to protect Cannatown against pos- sible attacks, none could be given, although Senior Lieutenant Kathy Howard did handily point out that its main defense system--citywide dabbing of large reserves of wax--would suce for almost any inva- sion, as it has in the past. “Do you remember when Stem Gulch tried to steal our prize Haze from our town square? ey ended up high as kites and splurging at the gi shop," she recalled. "Now that’s repower.”

ere’s a shoe making the rounds on talkshows and celebrity feet in a sort of revival lately, however, it’s not clear we ever really said goodbye. e Air Jørgen, nearing 40 years in existence, is back on top. But when it comes to the Air Jørgen’s popularity, the rest is obvious history. e clog was a must-have shoe for lowkey, middle-class peasantry in the 80’s and 90’s and even had a few sales in Randers and Aarhus. It helped the clog more widely trickle into pop culture including early b- sides on Tv-2 albums. e Air Jørgen has seen several iterations since then, and yet the Air Jørgen 1 remains the iconic staple still found on the streets and in country houses of East Jutland. It was reportedly Jørgen’s dance instructor Daisy Falk who appealed to his mother when he originally turned down the licensing agreement with the shoe company Nielsen. e deal was great, one unheard of for a poor clogging farmhand, and Jørgen’s own father called him an idiot for not tak- ing it and threw bong water all over him. 2022 was a wild ride for Black Country, New Road. Issac Wood, their lead singer and guitar-

ist, publicly announced he was leaving the group four days before the February release of their superb sophomore album Ants From Up ere . e ensuing tour was cancelled. e rest of the band decided to stay together and write new music while saying they would not perform live any material from Wood's tenure. A summer tour commenced with said new tunes and the year culminated in three concerts mid-December, lmed by the band, each one to a dierent costumed theme, seem- ingly unrelated other than "why the hell not," but nearly identical in setlist, which would become Live at Bush Hall released in March. For a group that lost its lead singer, the album is a demonstration of how the show can go on without requiring reinvention or any new members. ree of those remaining trade turns on vocals and Live at Bush Hall is less an attempt to make a sequel of Ants From Up ere , more a coherent progression despite the void le in Wood's wake. Scott McMicken and THE EVER- EXPANDING Shabang You may not know the name Scott Mc- Micken, but as co- leader of the beloved

While that band will apparently still be releasing new music despite no longer touring, Scotty's got a new all caps cohort called THE EVER-EXPANDING that provides an outlet for the guitarist's songwrit- ing and brings Dog fans back to the low(er)- early days of the mid-aughts. On Shabang , the group takes McMicken's tunes and leans into a reggae-ish feel for a number of them. It's a relaxed, loose aair that will serve as a quality soundtrack for warmer days ahead

Make these a day before you need them because you want a good 12 hours for a hard freeze. You can nd the molds online in a number of shapes. It’s a crowd pleaser on a hot day as long as you have a way to keep them frozen until serving. To make this a “full-sugar” treat instead use 2 cups sugar and a cup of corn syrup. I also recommend using some fruit to go decadent, but of course this will change your volume. e best result I found was the berries n’ cream avor, because I chopped up the raspberries and blackberries really well and cooked them directly with the milk and cream, making it simple to pour.
