Rules, Rules, and Rules, Oh My! Some owners have expressed to our Board members that there are too many rules at ORPS … and that more are being added by the Board of Directors every chance they get! I always politely explain the facts which I would like to share with you. Yes, our wonderful Resort has plenty of rules and that ’ s one of the reasons we can all live together so well! With 1,213 lot owners residing within 153 acres that also accommodates 27 holes of golf, 2 clubhouses, 6 satellites, 10 tennis courts,13 pickleball courts, 8 swimming pools, and 10 hot tubs, we are a tight - knit community living near our neighbors. For the record, 99% of our rules have been in place for over 25 plus years. When we purchased our lots, we each agreed to abide by all our rules. Yes, the Board of Directors throughout the years has been asked to incorporate new rules or make changes to existing ones. Can you believe that at one time, rigs with slide - outs were not allowed within our Resort? Also, just a short time ago, outdoor kitchens were not allowed. These are just a few rule changes that were made to improve our 5 - star Resort. I guarantee you that not everyone was in favor of these rule changes, and I will go out on a limb and say I seriously doubt whether there has ever been a new rule or change that every owner has agreed with. The Board of Directors rarely initiates a new rule or a rule change. Most requests for new rules or changes to existing rules come from owners in their participation on our volunteer committees. The committees are gathering suggestions and deal with issues throughout the season, and through their Board Liaison, they bring these suggestions or needed changes to the Board to act on. These committees are requesting action from the Board to resolve issues or concerns they are dealing with. The Board then review the request and gathers information from other owners to support or deny their suggested rule changes. Your Board of Directors takes any rule changes or new rules seriously and we fully realize that we will not make everyone happy, no matter what we decide. Most of these decisions are not easy and all pros and cons must be explored, discussed, and voted on. We do our best to make the right decision for most of our owners and the best interests of the Resort moving forward. While it would be easy for each of us to find rules that we don ’ t necessarily agree with, I am personally grateful that our rules contribute to the “ awesomeness ” of our Resort. Rules changes reflect a response to the needs of our ever - evolving community and your Board is listening. I continue to be proud to call ORPS my home. John Boudin Board President

A failure to communicate . . . ?

Social Media . . . an interesting phenomenon. Whether it ’ s a good thing or bad for a Community Association depends on the role it plays. It can range from legitimate exchanges of philosophies or information to half - truth rants and innuendos to “ fake ” news. I suppose it could be compared to a group of people talking over a pot - bellied stove or across the kitchen table, with the only difference being the size of the group. When websites were first used by Associations, which seems like eons ago, “ bulletin boards ” to allow commentary were immediately implemented. Over time, most have been deactivated. When Facebook entered the fray, free exchanges were implemented by nu- merous communities across the country. Over time, most have been deactivated. Same with Instagram and Twitter . . . Why? Because routinely, the sites were taken over by what I call “ The Second - Guess Committee ” . . . those in our presence who are Alarmists, Obstructionists, or down - right Contrarians. It amazes me how folks feel a sense of empowerment sitting behind their monitors. A tone that would never be used in person is used, but somehow makes its way onto the written word, and censorship is claimed when controls are put into place. I ’ ve even read where Communities are accused of being the Gestapo or Nazi Germany. Really?! Even “ independent ” places like “ Next Door ” or non - official Facebook pages can fall into the trap where, while the intent was pure, the “ Second - Guess Committee ” takes over. Claims of libel and, in some cases, lawsuits are filed, and friendships are lost, over words . . . words. Even worse, in my opinion, is the negative tone which is seen by those who don ’ t even live in the community and decide not to move without seeing the upside. Indeed, I recently know of a relative of an influential member, who asked their brother, “ Is it (ORPS) really as bad as it seems? ” Frankly, I would like to “ lurk and listen ” so that I know community issues, but invariably, it is found that I ’ m on the site and folks demand that I respond to their claim . . . and I reluctantly conclude that there ’ s not enough time in the day to deflate what are, at best, rumors, and point/counterpoint arguments ensue. I have recently heard claims that the Resort doesn ’ t communicate enough. What I ’ ve found that means is, “ You didn ’ t do it the way I want it to be done. ” After serving several large - scale, gated communities, one thing I know . . . ORPS does a phenomenal job of getting information out, in other words communicating to residents all the information needed to know both the enjoyments and, yes, restrictions intended to bring

After retiring at the end of 2017 my wife Charlotte and I began our full - time RV adventure. We rented here in November 2018 and immediately fell in love with what would become our “ winter home ” and purchased a lot before we left. We were drawn to ORPS not

I was raised in a family where volunteering was considered a privilege not an obligation. When I returned from Europe, I still had a

I graduated from Oregon State University where I earned a Bachelor degree in Business Administration. My entire career, spread across several Fortune 500 companies, focused on software development both as an individual contributor and part of several successful management teams. My focus has always been doing what is right for the people who reported to me and for all of my customers. And the same will hold true if elected to the Board of Directors – doing what is best for the Resort. I have great organizational skills and problem - solving skills. I am a good listener who is willing to share ideas openly and compromise if necessary. Outside of my work career I was a member of the Jr. Chamber of Commerce, PTA President and publicly elected to serve as a Local School Committee member and I was President of our HOA. I am currently serving on the ORPS Board of Directors, and I was recently appointed Chair of the A&A Committee. My experience on a personal and professional level has equipped me to be a valued member of the Board. I was humbled and honored to be appointed for a one - year term and I have put my heart and soul into the job since day one. And my tenure on the Board has prepared me to continue to serve the community and help move the Resort forward in a positive direction while keeping an eye on the financial health of the Resort and striving to keep HOA increases to a minimum. I will also be pushing for more open and transparent communications between the Board, Management and the Owners. We have a beautiful Resort and I look forward to working with you, the Board, committees, clubs and management to make ORPS the best it can be!

I served on the Dog Committee in 2016/17. In March of 2018 I was appointed to the Planning Committee. In 2019 I was elected Chair of the Committee and currently hold that position. summer of 2016. Our good friends suggested we travel to ORPS for our first winter “ snow birding ” experience. Little did we know that by the end of the first winter and with meeting such great people, we fell in love with this wonderful place. We rented for two years prior to purchasing our lot in March 2018. I attended Mount Royal University in Calgary, Alberta. After graduating in 1994, I successfully completed the Professional Program and received my Certified Management Accountant (CMA) designation. Prior to completing the CMA Professional Program, I began my accounting career at Shell Canada. My 22 - year career at Shell Canada was in the corporate finance division with roles ranging from Group Reporting to my final role as Global IT Process Expert for Projects and Assets. I was also involved in two system software conversions as a process focal and system expert. For five years I was the Finance Lead with the Shell North America Incident support Team and attended the annual disaster response team in “ mock disasters ” in Halifax, Houston, Seattle, and Calgary. I believe a serious focus on the resort ’ s financial health needs to be a priority. This can be achieved by focussing on all aspects of the financial picture, revenue, and expenses. As an HOA we also need to focus on our reserve fund. Failing to maintain a strong financial focus will ultimately lead to increased HOA assessments. I also believe a great HOA governed community can only be achieved if it has a solid set of rules. The rules need to be fair, reasonable, and not burdening. A rule that favors one resort resident over another does not achieve those objectives. Rules need to be enforced with understanding and compassion, to be written with fairness and to be understood and respected by all owners, renters, and guests. I would invite owners to contact me to discuss any issues or concerns they might have. ORPS is an owner ’ s HOA, your voice and input is important.

After graduating from California State University Long Beach, I began my working life in sales and marketing, management and ownership of several businesses. My last position as co - owner of FSG Inc. was the most rewarding and the most complex. Manufacturing glass molds for angioplasty and stent delivery balloons for the major medical companies around the world, helping save lives and employing people was most rewarding. In 2007 I retired, sold my share of the Company and now play at ORPS I ’ m currently on the Planning Committee and belong to FMCA - ORPS. In the past I was President of the Gold Country Lions Club, Youth Services Chairman District 5140 Rotary International and President of the Cement Hill Road Association. I was the first Race Director of the Gold Country Marathon and Road Races. The biggest test of my abilities to organize and lead was the Amgen Tour of California professional bicycle race. I worked with city, county and state entities and City Police, County Sheriff ’ s and the California Highway Patrol. I registered several hundred volunteers for race day and had them show up and perform flawlessly. In all of my endeavors, I have had to work with a budget and communicate effectively. My priority would be to continue the work in maintaining our financial stability, help to improve our security

I have the fiscal discipline required and a high standard of ethics that will keep the best interest of owners in mind at all times.
In small towns like our resort, we need to know how to budget our money to get the most out of what we spend it on. In this capacity I worked with the City Manager, the Mayor, and the rest of the Council, to make the community a wonderful place to live and raise my family. I promise to lookout for your best interests here at ORPS, that means keeping it running and looking properly. When the board spends our money, I will ask the questions as to why we are spending this money, is it a need or a want and is it benefiting the owners. We have items that need to be fixed, you, nor I want anything to fall into disrepair causing extra money for the repair or replacement. Sometimes new and costly projects have been performed, In the future I will ask the important questions like have we planned for them, were they budgeted for, that is part of board planning, being prepared for when that money is spent. I believe that we need to try to put a limit on our HOA dues, it can and should be done so that you know how to plan for your future, by budgeting and planning. I would like to find better ways to recycle inside our resort. Such as picking up on Tuesday and Thursday along with our yard waste, it is an idea and would love to hear your ideas. I will listen to you, I will be available to you and keep you informed, I will not be a knee jerk decision maker. I am a person that will investigate, research, and hear from you personally to make sure we really have an issue that must be acted upon.

My wife, Debbie and I visited ORPS in October 2021 for a tour of the property. We quickly realized we had found our winter home away from home. The well - manicured grounds,
I was born and raised in Stockton, CA. I attended the University of Arizona on a full athletic scholarship for tennis and then went on to play professional tennis on the pro circuit. During my pro circuit tour, I was recruited by John Gardiner—of the world

Debbie and I have been married 41 years and have 3 grown children and 4 grandchildren who also love their many visits to ORPS. Since coming to ORPS I have volunteered as part of the Wednesday burger night crew and most recently as one of the resort ’ s ambassadors. My 40+ career in education includes 20 years in senior administration serving as Superintendent/ CEO and Deputy Superintendent of school divisions in Newfoundland and Alberta. Since retiring, I have joined the faculty of City University of Seattle in Canada teaching the Masters of Leadership program to future leaders throughout Western Canada. My role as a senior leader in the education system included working closely with our elected board of trustees. I understand and appreciate the differences in the roles of board members and management. I have extensive experience as a board member having served on a number of boards in the areas of education, mental health and policing. My goal as a board member is to work collaboratively with the board to continue the work of the past while looking to the future. Our reputation as a lifestyle community has to continue to grow with enhancements to existing amenities and the activities we offer all owners while being mindful of the bottom line and the need to make life at ORPS affordable in terms of our monthly HOA fees. The popularity of ORPS is a result of the active lifestyle that we as owners are able to enjoy as part of our lives at ORPS. Great strides have been made over the years in building a community that we are all proud to call home. A vote for me will continue that positive growth in lifestyle opportunities.

After running the operations for several years, I returned to California where I purchased a Honda, Yamaha, Kawasaki, Sea - Doo motorcycle - watercraft - power equipment dealership, which I successfully operated for 18+ years. After selling the business, I went into law enforcement, and after 25+ years retired at a Captain ’ s rank. While in law enforcement, I participated in many aspects of the career field. I was considered a subject matter expert; I instructed defensive tactics, use of force, and advanced firearms training. I participated in the Safe Streets Task Force, the U.S. Marshals Task Force, and the Northern California Outlaw Motorcycle Gang Taskforce. And for the last 8 years of my career, I supervised a team of officers who targeted gang operations in the Central Valley of California. In 1997, while competing at the World Police and Fire Olympics in Calgary, Canada I won two gold medals in men ’ s tennis singles and doubles. I consider myself a consummate student, so during my law enforcement career, I decided to earn a Bachelor of Science in Criminal Justice from California State University, Stanislaus and a Master of Science in Criminal Justice from California State University, Sacramento. I received 4.0 GPA while earning my master ’ s degree, and walked across the graduation stage with my son as he graduated at the same time with his Bachelor of Science in Criminal Justice. I also taught graduate and postgraduate level students at the University of Phoenix as an adjunct professor. When I finally retired from law enforcement, I became a volunteer tennis coach at Ripon High School. I am married to my lovely wife, Debbie, and have two wonderful sons and two grandsons.

At the end of November 2020, Phil Hahn took us for a quick tour around ORPS. I was hanging on the back of the golf cart conducting a Microsoft Teams call for AT&T. A week later, Jeff and I returned to ORPS during a mandated 30 day shelter in place
I have been an owner since 2014, and have previously served on the Marketing Committee, and the Board as CFO signing checks issued here each week. I already know “ how ORPS runs ”! In 2016 I was involved “ re - marketing ” ORPS with a NEW interactive
order. We fell in love with ORPS and purchased Lot 2 at the end of January 2021. ORPS is truly an amazing RV Resort and we plan to be here for many years. The social benefits of belonging in ORPS rival the best of communities. Correspondingly, ORPS ownership is a real - estate investment. As owners, we benefit from understanding the investment attributes. Additionally, to preserve our investment, we must diligently maintain and improve the infrastructure. For example, the new dog park has added both social and investment value. With our community now effectively returning to normalcy after two years, I know owners who are unhappy with ORPS. My personality seeks unity. I want everyone to be happy and I avoid people who are divisive. While I understand making everyone happy is impossible, I do have many years of experience getting people to reconcile differences. My professional experience includes 25 years as an IT Manager at AT&T (beginning with PacBell). The last 10 years of my career I was my VP's Chief of Staff for an organization averaging roughly 500 employees and 1,000 contractors. From a high level, I was involved in most administrative aspects of my VP's organization. Finally, I must again mention what a great asset the new dog park is. Our Basenji girls are pretty well known. Our future is much brighter because of the dog park. Website, and the “ Tour ” video we still use today. The result of these efforts resulted in ORPS reducing lot inventory from 240 in 2015 to under 100 in just 2 years and eventually under 50 by 2018. The FUTURE IS NOW with new challenges, and I ’ ll be “ direct ” in what I stand for: 1. I am equipped to handle challenging periods having done so previously here. 2. I am “ not ” affiliated with ANY “ cliques ” or “ Sporting Group ” therefore I have NO “ hidden ” Agendas or affiliations. I pledge to represent all 1213 lot owners whether they are part OR full time. 3. I am a team player AND Communicator! I believe in digging up all “ facts ” before ANY decision is made AND Communicating necessary info to all and in a “ timely ” manner. We DO NOT presently communicate “ enough ” info to our Owners in my view. Just read the comments made on some of our Facebook Community pages and you can ascertain why I have this view! 4. I believe in taking owner Surveys “ as frequently ” as needed! We NEED to field our owners VIEWS on major financial issues or proposed changes “ before ” these major decisions are made. 5. I believe in “ supporting ” our top Management limiting the Board to “ what it ’ s supposed to be ”…. being Advisory and Oversight. It should not interfere or try to do Managements job! We change “ faces ” on our Board too frequently to do anything else effectively. ORPS is an intricate “ business ” and you cannot have our “ ship ” change course every time we add or change a face! We need steadiness “ at the Helm ”! Proposals should originate from and be presented by our Management working with our various Owner Committees supported by broader Owner feedback. The Board merely approves of proposed courses of action or not! I am asking for YOUR vote to represent you all!

It is hard to believe that in a few short months our winter season at ORPS will draw to a close. And I am sure some of you are thinking about improvements to your lot either before you leave for the summer or during the summer. If that is the case, I encourage you to submit your permit(s) as soon as possible. The A&A Committee workload is already quite heavy and our ability to process permits during the summer may take a little longer than normal. Please don ’ t wait until the last minute! Secondly don ’ t forget that if you do any improvements or repairs to your lot, please check with the office to see if you need a Permit. If unpermitted work is done you may be subject to fines and possibly removal of the unpermitted work. NO WORK CAN START WITHOUT AN APPROVED PERMIT! Next, I encourage every Owner that IF YOU SEE SOMETHING SAY SOMETHING ! With 1,213 lots in the Resort, it is a challenge for the Compliance office to identify every issue within the Resort in a timely fashion. If you see an issue that needs to be addressed from a Compliance or Rules perspective, please send an email to info@orps.com with the specifics (Lot Number and what needs to be addressed). Your notification is anonymous and will help keep the Resort looking great for all to enjoy. Safety is one of the primary concerns for our Owners. That is why it is so important that the lot number on your lot be visible day and night as well as legible so first responders can find your lot in a timely fashion. Please make sure that is the case for your lot(s). If the light is not working, please open a request in MicroMain and Maintenance will check the bulb and the sensor. If those are not in working order you will need to contact an elec- trician and open a permit for the work. Recently an inventory was taken of those RVs that need some tender loving care from an aesthetics perspective. That includes things like oxidation, faded decals and peeling clearcoat. At some point in the near future approximately 218 Owners will be contacted and will need to address these issues. If you are one of those Owners, I would STRONGLY encourage you to reach out to a vendor to get repairs made. There is a very limited number of vendors that will come to the Resort and address this type of work. As you may already know I am new to the role of A&A Chair. The Planning Committee welcomes new member Ralph Joiner to its ranks. In the last months the PC finalized a Project Proposal form. This form is intended for Committees and owners of the Resort to fill out when they want to make project proposals to the PC. The PC also finalized and approved a Prioritization Screening Criteria form. This form is similar to what PC ’ s from the past have used. It will assist the PC when assessing project requests presented to the PC. This form will also assist to rank order project requests on a time - line when the PC makes its end of year report to the Board of Directors. The PC has a running list of projects it has put together from suggestions from owners, the Board and the General Manager. These are not all immediate action items or immediate fixes. They will be included in an end of year report presented to the Board as the PC ’ s Charter states that we are to assist the Board of Directors in the development of a long - range Master Plan and to recommend to the Board short term projects that are consistent with the Master Plan

Tap dance classes return to ORPS It ’ s been a few years since the ORPS tap dancers have had their instructor at the Resort. Well, she ’ s back and Janice Tooby MacDonald is ready to lead The Tuesday Tappers and new dancers with shuffles, ball changes and combinations. The tappers are preparing for their fifth Big Star Night appearance. Janice is a professional tap dance, instructor, adjudicator and newly
retired from the Canadian College of Performing

January Fritters and Fun, brought “ Dingles ” to ORPS Tennis. 32 people participated, and fritters, mimosas, and coffee followed. 8 people received their $6 entry back, through a drawing. Steve Simpson won the 50/50 and received $70.50.
A second match was equally exciting with Brian and Doreen Goltz(on the left) out maneuvering Debbie and John Jensen. There are 12 mixed doubles teams that will play each Sunday.
The January Mixer was on January 21. Thanks to Jill Trelawny and Greg Bach for hosting this great event. The theme was The Spanish Armada and their delicious food was reflective of that.
February Tennis Highlight “ Sparky ” Brian Farrell grew up in San Francisco. He started playing tennis at the age of 8 with his uncle. He served in the Marine Corps, and then became a Firefighter. He was promoted to Captain, and later had to retire after a bad knee injury.
The Internal Leagues have started. Mixed Doubles started on Jan. 8.
Sparky has been at ORPS since 1986. His first visit was on a trip home from Mexico. He and his wife Chris, saw a sign on the freeway and stopped for 1 night. They came back the next year, and every year since. Sparky and Chris spend their summers up in the Redwoods. They have 30 acres there and they built their own home. Sparky ’ s other passion is woodworking. In 1992 Sparky started teaching tennis at ORPS. He has helped many of us improve our game. He watches closely to find details that can be corrected. He ’ s especially excited this year to see the increase in new players, and their enthusiasm. He also enjoys stringing tennis rackets, which he started doing in 1970, and still does. His drop in novice clinic is every Wednesday at 10 on court B.

The CanAm is just around the corner.
Last year was the first year tennis participated in this event. The event had the best participation of anything we had ever done as a tennis community. The sportsmanship, patriotism, camaraderie, and volunteerism was truly outstanding. We look forward to more fun in February 2023 .

With February now here and with so many ORPS owners and renters returning, since the first of January, play on both golf courses has definitely picked up. Sign ups for the Tuesday and Thursday mixed tournament events are filling up fast, so sign up and join the fun!! I ’ m pleased to announce Tali and I

Well, 2022 went out with a bang! There has been an increase of approximately 34% in actual rounds for the months of December and November compared to the prior year! The Fall 9 and Wine was so popular and by request this will become a monthly event. Sign up will be through the Starter Shack only! It ’ ll be bigger and better. February is a big month for tournaments! Watch for the sign - ups for the ever popular Sweetheart Tournament and the 2nd Annual Can/Am. Both of these tournaments are handicap formulated so please get your 5 games in to establish your handicap. You won ’ t want to miss either of these events. Watch the monthly calendar for other events. LIVE SCORING : Thanks to our computer whiz Phil Sanstrum players can now see how the entire field is doing during competition. The Golf Mobile Network APP is all you need to score live and post your scores. Perfect way to establish and maintain your personal handicap. We are happy to assist with instructions prior to the Tuesday and Thursday events. TEE TIMES : Remember to book your tee times. You have to have the fastest fingers in ORPS. You must be ready at 6:59 for the 7 AM sprint. ForeTees accounts can be set up through our Starter Shack. Remember no shows are recorded. It is a must, if you have to cancel that you do it online or immediately notify the Starter Shack. People don ’ t like to see threesomes when the tee sheet is full. JUST A FEW REMINDERS: - Have Fun! - Check in 15 minutes prior to rounds is mandatory by ALL golfers. - 2023 No Shows will be monitored. If you are ill and unable to play, you are required to advise the Starter Shack immediately if you cannot cancel your own booking online. - Fix all ball marks on the green. - Use of a Tee is mandatory. - Golf Attire is mandatory. - Each player must have their own clubs. HANDICAP GOLF TRAIL FLAGS - $40.00 must be paid at time of proof of documentation - $25.00 each and every year renewal. - Owner daily use $5.00 if no annual flag. - Guest daily use $ 7.00. - All golf carts must have the flag displayed and visual for identification. Geese Deterrent program update : Early this season we had a couple geese injuries by golf balls. Action was taken to ensure fewer occurrences happened the remainder of the year. The dog team and the light system seems to be the answer to encourage the geese to move along. The committee contacted appropriate authorities and received this communication back …... Hello. Thanks for contacting the California Department of Fish and Game. The use of trained dogs to discourage geese from settling in an area is an acceptable strategy and does not violate any Federal regulation as long as the dogs do not harm the geese or engage with geese that are nesting, molting or raising young. We are grateful for each project we have created, and we look forward to creations yet to come. On February 18th, 2023, ORPS Quilters and Sewers will be hosting our Annual Quilt Show in the ES Owner ’ s Lounge. We invite you all to come by between 10AM - 2PM to see the amazing things created by our group. We were unable to hold this event the past two seasons, so we are excited to again share our creations with all of you. Besides the works on display, there will be items for sale. Come vote for your favorites and stop for a cup of coffee and a cookie. We are also selling raffle tickets for three beautiful quilts that will raise funds for our chosen charity, Shelter From the Storm, the only domestic violence shelter in the Coachella Valley. Please look for pop up ticket sales at events in the resort or stop by the ES West Room anytime between 9AM - 5PM to purchase tickets. The winners will be chosen at the Ladies Luncheon on March 1, 2023. Additionally, the shelter needs donations. Your generous donations of toys, under garments, socks, cleaning supplies, diapers, wipes, etc., are welcome. These items will go a long way in the feeling of kindness from others during a very difficult time in the lives of these families. We will accept donations for the shelter all season, every season. Our mission at ORPS is to create a unique pickleball experience where beginners and veterans are treated equally, sportsmanship is more important than wins or losses, competition is strong but not relentless, friendships and camaraderie are treasured, and people are more important than the game.

When playing on the challenge court, after three wins, all four players MUST exit the court and the next four players waiting come in. The losing team to those with three wins, have priority in putting their paddles back in line. • Three courts are reserved for novice players in the mornings! • If you are interested in purchasing your own Onix Pure Recruit balls, they are available from Gary Oedekerk at a discounted price of $8.99. • “ Skills and drills ” practices are offered on Tuesday and Thursday afternoons from 2:00 to 4:00 PM! All are welcome! • Please remember to use the gates, as there have been instances of collisions when participants are walking behind those playing. • On the first Sunday of the month, courts are washed and cleaned. Players may want to arrive a little later in the morning! • Please do not erase names on the board. Our court ambassadors work hard at managing players and courts, and they have things well in hand. • The only people who should be calling a ball “ out ” or “ in ” are the people receiving it. • Shirts for the CAN - AM pickleball tournaments will be available for purchase from our club the first week of February! • CAN - AM Pickleball is scheduled for Feb 21 (men ’ s doubles), 22 (women ’ s doubles), 23 (mixed doubles). • Spin serves are no longer legal. • If a ball is not clearly out and if there is any uncertainty, it must be called in.
