Ultra Performing Treatment Vanguard
Vanguard PLUS is an anti-scratch and anti-fog
treatment, applied on both sides of the lenses, with K and N certiƼcation. This treatment guarantees anti-fogging properties 5 times greater than required by standard regulations and an abrasion resistance that is two times higher than the requirements of the EN166 norm.

In order to stress the anti-scratch qualities of the treatment, the EN 166 regulation requires 3 kg of quartz sand to be dropped from a height of 1.65 m on the lens and to subsequently check the delta in the luminance factor, which must not exceed the value of 5 Cd / Mq x lux.

Protection in environments that experience rapid changes in lighting and temperature In/Out G65
The G65 lens is the ideal solution for users who quickly transit from indoor to outdoor work. This lens, developed by the Univet research centre, combines a tint that can Ƽlter ambient light with the Vanguard Plus ultra-performing anti- fog technology.
The G65 lens uses the Vanguard PLUS ultra-performance technology, and is K and N certiƼed. The Vanguard PLUS provides an anti- fogging performance 5 times greater than the standards and eliminates the risk of lens fogging typical in situations where there are signiƼcant and sudden changes in temperature.

The pupil changes size without us being aware of it. The pupil's response is an involuntary reƽection: when exposed to intense light, it constricts to protect the retina's photosensitive cells from being damaged, while under weak lighting conditions it dilates to capture as much light as possible.
High visibility in all light conditions
During the daytime from a bright to darker environment and vice versa causes the pupils to suddenly close or open, abruptly reducing visual acuity. This is a physiological phenomenon with reaction times that vary from person to person, putting the worker at risk with a temporary loss of visibility. The use of G65 lenses in safety glasses puts less stress on the pupil and eliminates this risk by maintaining excellent visibility in all lighting conditions.

The Safety lens with Blue Block Ƽlter is designed to protect the eyes well-being from blue radiation emitted by notebooks, LED monitors, tablets and smartphones and by artiƼcial LED lighting.

The blue light visible to human eye is produced by high frequencies (from 380nm to 450 nm) that are the most dangerous (HEV: highest energy visible). The Blue Block lens protects from a maximum of 50% of these frequencies (up to 420nm), if it blocked them totally it would not allow the vision of the blue color. Blue is a primary color and this would alter the color perception.

The blue light could damages the back of the eye as much as the UV rays could damage the front; for this reason it’s imperative to shield the eyes from this kind of rays.
The lenses with Blue Block treatment can screen the eyes from blue and UV rays, improving contrast and visual comfort, as well as reducing glare and reƽections on the lens. This treatment is also available on prescription glasses.

ArtiƼcial light and reƽecting surfaces create visual dazzle that can cause: reduced level of attention, limited vision and, in extreme cases, dizziness.
The anti-reƽection Clear RFL-X treatment consists in the sedimentation of a very thin layer of particular metal oxides, able to eliminate residual light reƽections which have negative eƷects on the sharpness of the images perceived in favour of maximum user safety.

Applied both internally and externally on the lens surface, the HOD treatment increases superƼcial tension avoiding water and oil adherence.

Water behaves diƷerently according to the contact surface. When it enters into contact with fabrics it is absorbed, but it tends to stay on the windscreen and it needs wipers to remove it. In order to avoid both eƷects, we added an hydrophobic layer to the lens, a protective Ƽlm that allows water to slide on the lens avoiding accumulation.

The Polar-X polarized solar lens uses a speciƼc anti- reƽection Ƽlter that allows a clearer and more deƼned vision. The polarizing treatment is based on a number of Ƽlters applied to the lens that modulate light with the aim to reduce the annoying glare from the surfaces.

What does polarized mean?
In order to answer the question, it is necessary to shortly explain how the polarizing principle works. Natural light travels in form of waves that swing in all directions. This means that it is not polarized. When a sunray meets a reƽecting surface, the light undergoes a process that is called polarization, i.e. it starts moving vertically and horizontally. While vertical light gives us all the information on colors and contrasts, horizontal light creates an annoying glaring eƷect that disturbs our vision. The polarizing lens, thanks to a micro vertical network, consistently reduces or totally eliminates the reƽected light energy that causes reverberation.

Without the use of suitable Ƽlters, working glasses do not grant a complete protection exoposing the worker to risks.
The Polar-X polarized sun lens is an active protection as it prevents the risk of accidents during outdoor daily activities, avoiding glare and increasing visual quality.

Polarized lenses are recommended for: outdoor activities, construction sites, vehicle driving, installation and maintenance of solar panels, installation and maintenance of ski resorts, building of curtain walls, activities on ships or oil plants.

The photochromic Dynami-X lenses help the eyes to adjust when light changes. They darken and get clearer by changing the environment in order to enhance visual comfort in all conditions of light.

Photochromic lenses are perfect for users that want protective glasses, to be worn out- and indoors. Photochromic lenses darken in 1 minute when in contact with UV rays (around 45% of Ƽltered light) and become clearer in absence of ultraviolet light in about 5 minutes (about 28% of Ƽltered light). The Dynami-X photochromic lenses are recommended for in- and outdoor activities with a permanence higher than the lens reaction times and in absence of sudden light changes.

When worn indoors they are perfectly transparent, when outdoors as the lens detects a stronger light, the photoactive molecules applied on the surface react to UV rays and to solar irradiation becoming darker in a matter of seconds.

For all weather conditions Solar G-15
For outdoor working activities it is important to choose the right lens that grants safety and excellent visibility. The Solar-G15, ideal to protect from sun rays, grants a realistic vision of the surrounding environment both for forms and colours.
What does G-15 mean?
"G-15" means that the lens is green/gray; that explains the choice of the letter "G". Number "15" is referred to the quantity of light that is transmitted through the lens (also called VLT); so 15% of light in the environment where you are now, passes through the lenses, while the remaining 85% is blocked.

The Solar G-15 adapts to all weather conditions. It can be worn in bright sunshine and with partial/total cloudiness, with fog and poor light. This colouring grants a high protection and it is also suitable to protect light eyes.
