52) The participants can explain how to do function test of the bottom obstruction device: flashing light (Knowledge, intermediate level)
53) The participants can perform a replacement of the bottom obstruction device: flashing light and bulb (Skills, intermediate level)
The instructor shall:
Demonstrate how to perform a function test and replacement of the bottom obstruction device: flashing light and bulb
Facilitate practical training on testing the flashing light and replacing the bulb
Provide feedback to the participants on their performance
The participants shall:
Engage in practice, and discuss challenges about performing a function test of the bottom obstruction device flashing light, share experiences, and apply the received feedback in following exercises

The aim of this lesson is to enable the participants to ensure the function of lift door and hatches lock and electrical interlock systems in accordance with the relevant manuals and inspection lists.
After successfully having completed Lesson 9 of the Service Lift Inspection and Maintenance Module, the participants can:
