The instructor shall:
Present key points in relation to the inspection of the general condition of fall arrest devices in different lift types
Demonstrate how to install different types of fall arrest devices by following relevant manuals
Facilitate practical training on installation of a fall arrest device and provide feedback to the participants on their performance
Lead or facilitate a discussion on differences between different fall arrest devices in different lift types
The participants shall:
Engage in the practical training, reflect on the received feedback, and take active part in discussions and share experiences working with fall arrest devices

The aim of this lesson is to enable the participants to install and inspect the supply cable and cable bin in accordance with the relevant manuals and inspection lists.
