BOOKING YOUR ORDER EARLY? Receiving your MYP catalog in July gives you time to plan your season and book your orders. This booking cycle begins at the end of July for orders shipping weeks 40-20. Give your growing season a successful start by booking your order early and taking advantage of these benefits: EARLY ORDER DISCOUNT (EOD) An early order discount (EOD) lowers the cost of your plants and applies to all orders booked by October 31, 2023. We recommend placing as much of your initial order as early as you can. You can always add a product later if you make additions or changes to your program but ordering early ensures that the bulk of your order is confirmed with the EOD pricing. SELECTION AND AVAILABILITY Good availability earlier in the season means it’s more likely you’ll get your entire order confirmed. Our trays are grown to order, and we book orders with the cutting suppliers after receiving orders from your broker. Suppliers have a limited number of cuttings, and once they are gone, we cannot get more. ORDER PROTECTION Booking early helps to protect your order from unexpected shortages arising during production.
DEER RESISTANT Research demonstrates these varieties to be less desirable to deer.

our living catalog
If you find this catalog helpful for planning and selecting plant material, you’ll want to visit our living catalog full of plants you can see, smell, and touch. For over 20 years, Mast Young Plant’s annual summer trial garden invites visitors to browse several acres of plants in actual garden conditions, preview new varieties, and gain design inspiration from the 500+ custom combinations on display. Our trial garden gives you confidence in your plant selections. Rather than choosing varieties for our program from breeder photo galleries, we carefully select only the varieties from industry-leading breeders that meet our high standards for quality and which we are confident we can grow well for you. When you visit, you can view our new varieties displayed alongside industry favorites, allowing you to select those you prefer for your program and customers. Use our new variety guide booklet to learn more about each new introduction and to jot down your own notes about these new selections. We are eager to connect people to plants by welcoming customers, sales representatives, and breeders to our trial garden this summer. Our garden is open to the public from July through September and is fully staffed during the Michigan Garden Plant Tour from July 24 - August 4. Drop-in visitors are welcome, and we encourage visitors to schedule a visit for a more personalized experience by contacting our office. Connect with us on Facebook, Instagram, and LinkedIn for garden updates throughout the summer, and visit our website in October to view our trial garden report and find out which new for 2024 varieties stood out this summer.
