Welcome to the M odern M ethods of C onstruction Awards 2026!

Building on the momentum of last year’s outstanding event, we return to honour the innovation, expertise and commitment that continue to redefine how we design, deliver and experience the spaces around us. The Awards are more than a celebration of achievement; they champion the sector’s transformative impact, showcasing how modern methods of construction are driving progress across commercial, education and healthcare settings. The judging panel remarked on both the exceptional quality and the remarkable breadth of submissions this year, reflecting a sector defined by ambition, capability and innovation. Their dedication and considered judgement are integral to the integrity of these Awards, and I am deeply grateful for the expertise, time and professionalism they have brought to the process. This year’s chosen charity is Breast Cancer UK, a cause that holds real significance for many of us. Their work in advancing research, promoting prevention and supporting those affected is vital, and I am sincerely grateful for your generosity in supporting them at this year’s MMC Awards. Finally, my sincere thanks go to our valued partner, the Modular and Portable Building Association, whose collaboration and continued support have been essential in bringing this event to life, and to our sponsors Actiform, Marksman Plant Hire, Pickering’s and Portakabin, whose valued support plays a vital role in making this event possible. We are also grateful to our supporters érgea, Morland, and Wenick Group for their continued backing. Your shared commitment to advancing modern methods of construction continues to drive the sector forward. As you enjoy the lunch, networking and entertainment from our host Andy Powell, I hope you take pride in the achievements represented here today.
