The Ontario government expects all residents aged 18 and over will become eligible for a COVID-19 vaccine as early as the week of May 24. The provincial government announced an increased supply of vaccines would allow an expansion of eligibility for the vaccines. As of last Friday, anyone aged 55 or over will be allowed to book an appointment through the provincial booking system at covid-19. ontario.ca/book-vaccine/. The age bands were expected to drop weekly until May 24, when everybody aged 18 and over would be eligible to make a booking. As of last Thursday, licensed childcare workers were also eligible to book a vaccine. The number of residents eligible to book vaccines will expand even further on Thurs- day, when from 8:00 a.m., people aged 50 or over (born in 1971 or earlier) will be able to use the province’s booking system. Individu- als with high-risk health conditions or could not work from home during the pandemic in certain industries would also be eligible. The government announced that a greater percentage of vaccines would be distributed to hot spots across Ontario for two weeks starting from Monday. Plus de projets de développement résidentiel proposés pour Plantagenet signifient plus de demandes sur le sys- tème de lagunes de traitement des eaux usées du village. «Il y a beaucoup de demandes pour des (projets) de construction», a déclaré Guylaine Poirier, directrice de la construction et du zonage du canton d’Alfred-Plantagenet, lors de la séance du conseil du 21 avril. La discussion sur l’étang d’épuration du village de Plantagenet a fait suite à l’examen par le conseil d’une lettre concernant un projet résidentiel de sept unités sur la rue Main. L’installation actuelle de la lagune d’épuration du village a une capacité suf- fisante pour traiter ce projet et quelques autres, mais le personnel du canton et le conseil conviennent qu’une expansion future de la lagune est nécessaire pour soutenir le développement économique futur du village. Jonathan Gendron, directeur des travaux publics du canton, a indiqué au conseil que son service travaillait à un appel d’offres pour choisir une entreprise chargée de SÊBMJTFSMÊWBMVBUJPOFOWJSPOOFNFOUBMF && nécessaire à l’expansion future du bassin de stabilisation.

Comment arrêter de culpabiliser sans arrêt?

Et si vous culpabilisez excessivement, au point de vous détester, posez- vous la question : « Serais-je aussi sévère envers mon meilleur ami? » Faire preuve de bienveillance et d’indulgence envers soi-même, ça s’apprend! Vous avez commis une erreur? Se flageller et ruminer est inutile : faites plutôt en sorte de la réparer pour pouvoir tourner la page sur cet épisode. En somme, il est impossible de tout contrôler, mais on peut trouver des stratégies efficaces pour mieux gérer ce désagréable sentiment de culpabilité. Pour obtenir de l’aide personnalisée, n’hésitez pas à consulter un professionnel de la santé mentale.

George passed away peacefully, at the Ottawa General Hospital on Monday, April 19. Loving father of Angel (Mark) Paterson, Tammy (Doug) Carruthers, Shannon (Tracy), Logan and Prairie. Proud grandfather of: Bailey (Jaime Goldman), Chelsea and Clark; Savannah (Nolan Winter), Brittney (Elliot Keller), Kylie (Mark Singer) and Jessica; also step grandfather to Ashley, Kaitlin, Laura, Nathan and Alexis. Great grandfather of Owen, Ava and Nevin Winter, Kacen, Adley and Cove Keller. Step great grandfather to Alexis, Peyton, Ivy and Emery. Beloved son of the late James and Mildred (Girouard) Groves. Dear brother of Shirley (late Jim) Sullivan, Alice and Katie (Francis) Kenny. Predeceased by Winnifred (George) Murdock, Jim (Jean McMillan) and Stephan. Special uncle to many nieces and nephews and will be missed by all his family, friends and cousins. George was a proud graduate of Ottawa Technical High School and Ryerson College in Toronto. He loved to sing and was a member of the Ottawa Technical High School choir. His teenage years were spent taking apart and rebuilding many old cars in backyard of the family home, on Nelson St. He also loved to play the harmonica and shared his talent at many a family gathering. Growing up, George had the privilege of both country and city living with time divided between the family home outside of Russell and the home on Nelson St., in Ottawa. In the 1970’s, George, who was a Class A Mechanic, set up business on the family property in Russell where he was the proud owner of a highly successful business, George Groves Garage Ltd. He continued to run this business until recent days. He was a ‘Number One’ Dad who shared his gifts and talents with many and all. We love you Dad!
