Ops-Core Headborne Systems and The Power of Integration

2023 marks the 15 th anniversary of the Ops-Core FAST helmet system making its debut at the 2008 Shot Show. Innovative and forward thinking, the high cut, integrated nature of the design was born out of the feedback from Tier 1 operators and their needs for the right balance of protection and pounds (weight) to keep them protected while offering a level of mobility that traditional helmets didn’t offer. Fifteen years later and the FAST high cut design has become the staple of elite military and law enforcement units globally. In that time Ops-Core has continued to do what they do better than anyone: Innovate. A core pillar of their design philosophy is integration, and it is the ability to deliver whole head- borne systems that sets Ops-Core apart from any of its competitors. The ability to deliver a helmet system, situational awareness systems, innovative eye protection options along with respiratory products that are all designed to seamlessly integrate into a complete system is a critical feature that no one else can boast.

The benefit to the operator is immediately evident, the ability to focus on the mission at hand without distraction. Small issues with getting helmet, communications, and eye protection to fit together become bigger issues the longer they are worn. What seems like a small issue can become a pressure point or pinch which leads to fatigue and distraction, clearly something to be avoided during critical periods when stress levels are already high. The FAST high cut helmet system offers the operator additional security from non-ballistic bump protection through handgun and frag threats to rifle-rated. Incorporating a variety of sizes and colors, Ops-Core is unique in ballistic testing all four sizes available, not just one. The AMP ® communications system is an adaptive mission platform that can be worn on a headband or connected directly on to the user's helmet. Ops-Core’s 3D

Hear-Through Technology restores and enhances “natural hearing” of outside environments for improved situational awareness. Scalability in hearing protection is achieved by adding NFMI earplugs which provides hearing protection up to 34 dB NRR with no degradation to the hear through capability of the system. The Special Operations Tactical Respirator (SOTR) filters out 99.97% of harmful particulates, including lead, dust, asbestos, and explosive gunfire residue. It’s so slim on the back of your phone, you will never even know it’s there! knife maker, in 2016. BuckNBear specializes in Damascus, D2, stainless steel and high carbon steel knives. I personally have two of their models. The Black Panther which has a MSRP under $50 is a great all purpose pocket knife. Very solid cutting performance. Also, I have their Tactical Karambit Folder. I̕ ve had this light for over 2.5 years, and have never had any issues whatsoever. The

The holiday season is a time of giving, joy, and reflection. For businesses it offers a golden opportunity to give back to the community and foster a culture of good corporate citizenship. Here are some ways these companies can make a meaningful difference: Donate Excess Inventory: Companies often have excess inventory or slightly imperfect products that can’t be sold. These can be donated to shelters, disaster relief organizations, or community programs. Such donations can equip people in need and also help reduce waste. Sponsor Holiday Drives: Initiate or participate in toy, food, or clothing drives. Encourage employees to donate, and match their contributions.
