WELCOME

The payroll, pension and reward industries are constantly changing, and since beginning my career in payroll, the profession has been re-vamped by technology and legislation updates. One thing that has always remained constant through all of this is the Chartered Institute of Payroll Professionals (CIPP).

Since March 2020, we have seen a tremendous amount of change and have had to adapt quickly to ensure we can still deliver an impeccable service to our members, delegates and students. We have moved our entire training and qualifications portfolio onto our online platform, ensuring students are still able to study with us and not miss out on their learning. 2020 saw our most successful National Payroll Week to date, with over 5,500 packs downloaded by payrollers throughout the UK, allowing them to join in the celebrations together. These celebrations were much needed, as payrollers took on more than they ever have before and still ensured they kept the UK paid. We look forward to seeing you at our wide variety of events throughout 2021, whether that be face-to-face or online. Our policy team focuses on ensuring we can assist every payroller with the constant changes in legislation and guidance. They produce numerous fact sheets, webcasts and breaking news articles to ensure that no one needs to struggle to find the information they need to perform their role. CIPP membership facilitates access to our Advisory service helpline, the extra member of your payroll team. They’re on hand to answer your technical questions, assisting with confidence and compliance and providing a much-needed support to the payroll industry.

We sit on more government consultation forums than any other payroll organisation in the UK, representing our members on all the legislation affecting UK payroll. Doing this allows us to identify areas where the payroll profession needs assistance.

We are leading the profession through education, membership and recognition.

Ken Pullar FCIPP Chief executive officer

WHAT’SNEW? We have introduced a brand new collection of P11D’s, expenses and benefits courses for you to choose from

We now produce an array of whitepapers and webcasts with each government update to ensure you have the information you need at your fingertips

Our membership levels span from entry level to the highest level, meaning whatever your needs we can support you

Our Payroll Reference Book is an invaluable guide to all things payroll and is now a membership benefit for all associate members and above

Please note that the CIPP continually updates its products and services to ensure that they meet the needs of the industry; therefore content is subject to change without prior notification. Please visit cipp.org.uk for the most up to date information.
