NEW ALBANY PARKS AND RECREATION
Dear New Albany Neighbors,
It's hard to put into words how excited I am to share this program guide with you. For years, we've dreamed about what a true community hub could look like here in New Albany — a place where every generation, every interest and every season of life has somewhere to belong. With the opening of the New Albany Fieldhouse and Community Center, that dream is now a reality, and this guide is your first look at everything it makes possible. Inside these pages, you'll find an entirely new lineup of programs designed to take full advantage of our new space — from meeting spaces and wellness classes to sports leagues, simulator sports zones, indoor turf activities, community events, and gathering spaces for clubs, classes, and connections. Whether you're looking to stay active, try something new, meet your neighbors, or give your kids a place to run, play, and grow, the Fieldhouse and Community Center was built with you in mind. This project represents years of planning, listening to residents and a shared commitment to building something New Albany can be proud of long into the future. Now that the doors are open, the real fun begins. I can't wait to see this building come alive with laughter, competition, learning and community spirit. On behalf of the entire Parks and Recreation team, thank you for your support in bringing this vision to life. We'll see you at the Fieldhouse!
THE DIRECTOR’S REPORT
Enriching the quality of community life by providing recreational programs and leisure opportunities, well- maintained parks and facilities, and services delivered in a safe, cost-effective manner.

ART EXPLORERS NEW ALBANY PARKS & RECREATION
CUT, CREATE AND COLLAGE! CRAFTYBEAVERS
This studio-style class allows young artists to unleash their creativity and explore a new art method or style. Each month will feature a different theme and artists can choose from a variety of art mediums to complete their creations.
What happens when we mix colorful papers, interesting images, patterns, textures and a little imagination? Almost anything! In this hands-on art workshop, kids will explore the creative world of collage by cutting, arranging, layering and gluing a variety of materials to create an original work of art. We’ll experiment with composition, color, texture and storytelling while discovering that there’s no single “right” way to make art. Kids will have the freedom to follow their own ideas while receiving guidance and creative prompts along the way. The result is a one-of-a-kind piece of artwork they can proudly take home. No previous art experience is necessary. Just bring your imagination!
