'GROWING AS MUCH AS I CAN'
Daikin Frontline Leader Finds Right Fit For 20 years, PACEDRIC BREWER was looking for a career with a family-oriented company and opportunities to grow. He’s found both with our team. Pacedric was hired to our Daikin Comfort Technologies account in August of 2024 as a driver. He had extensive experience behind the wheel, but other companies had not provided a long-term pathway for promotion. “Most companies wanted me to go to college before I could move into leadership,” explains Pacedric, who was promoted to frontline leader last October. “For me to come to Averitt and be promoted in this amount of time, it was amazing.” Pacedric was inspired by the growth story of his site manager, KEVIN BERRY , who is also a former driver. “Looking at Kevin over the last year and a half and seeing how he did it, that gave me confidence,” Pacedric says. “I wanted the challenge of being in leadership. I’m the type of person who, once I start, I want to constantly learn more and more. I’m so thankful that Averitt gave me the opportunity to move into a leadership position. I’m so excited to be here.” AIMING HIGH FOR THE FUTURE Pacedric hopes it’s just the start of a long and productive career with Averitt. “I plan on retiring from Averitt,” he says. “There’s so much I want to do with this team. As long as Averitt will have me, I’m not going anywhere. I’m planning on growing as much as I can.” For now, Pacedric is finding that his time behind the wheel is a huge plus for his fellow Daikin associates. “Our drivers know I’ve been a driver and I have that experience,” he explains. “That helps when I’m offering some advice, because they know it’s something I’ve already done.”
Daikin Comfort Technologies frontline leader PACEDRIC BREWER came to Averitt with extensive experience as a driver, and now he can pass along that knowledge to our team in his new role.
HELPFUL TIPS Pacedric says there are several actions associates can take to find out how we Promote From Within . “I would tell associates to stay positive,” he says. “Build relationships with the associates you work with. Learn as much as you possibly can. Communicate with your leaders and inform them of your goals.” YOUR STORY COULD BE NEXT Our Career Opportunities page on InsideAveritt is another tool that can help you be on the lookout for open positions with our team. NEW DIGS IN THE OIL CAPITAL
Tulsa Excited For Opening Of New Service Center
For some time, our Tulsa operations have been growing to the point where a new service center has become a necessity. Luckily for associates there, they’ve been able to watch the progress in real time. Located right off Highway 44, a major road with great visibility in the city, our new Tulsa facility will be very close to our current service center. We anticipate moving into the new digs sometime in the second quarter. “Our team is very excited,” says Service Center Director ZACH MEAD . “They’ve been able to see it get done day by day. They’re super excited for where it is. The location doesn’t make anybody drive any farther or any less. We’re literally moving half a mile down the road.” BY THE NUMBERS The new service center will provide significantly more space and amenities, including: • 6,600 square feet of office space • 52 dock doors, compared to the current 32 • A dock that is 25 feet wider than the current one • Approximately 15,000 square feet for warehousing at the end of the dock • Parking lot dedicated for Averitt associates “All of that is going to help our associates,” Zach says. “And there’s an area where we can possibly put some sort of workout room where associates can
We anticipate completing our new Tulsa service center sometime in the second quarter.
exercise, get on the treadmill and improve their health. That brings a lot of excitement as well.” OVER-THE-ROAD AMENITIES Over-the-road drivers passing through the area will also have expanded amenities. “They won’t have to go to a truck stop,” Zach explains. “If they’re on the yard, they’ll have showers and everything they need, including two different breakrooms. It’s going to benefit our over-the-road drivers. We don’t see many in this area right now, but I can see that changing. This facility will be a game-changer for everybody who comes through Tulsa.” We’re proud to invest in new facilities, because they keep us ready for new opportunities with customers. And investments in facilities are investments in our associates. After all, these improvements are made possible by the efforts of our team. We look forward to the opening of our new Tulsa service center, as well as other facilities enhancements throughout our network in 2026! T m

to serve others. Together, associates contributed an impressive 29,555 hours of community service by participating in blood drives, school events, holiday initiatives, food, clothing, and toy drives across our communities. Those hours also contributed to the company match that resulted in this year's $1,400,001 donation to St. Jude Children's Research Hospital . These efforts represent more than just hours logged. They reflect compassion in action, neighbors helping other neighbors, and associates stepping up wherever help was needed the most. From small acts of kindness to large scale community efforts, each moment spent serving helped strengthen the place where we live and work. Thank you to everyone who helped make this impact possible. Your willingness to get involved throughout the year reflects the heart of the Averitt family and the difference we can make when we work together. Every act of service, big or small, reinforces the values that guide our team every day and the pride we share in serving our communities. A TRADITION OF SERVICE
A SEVEN-YEAR TRADITION IN SUPPORTING LOCAL FAMILIES What began as a simple act of giving back has grown into something much bigger. Nearly seven years later, a dedicated group of Averitt associates continues to come together with one shared purpose: supporting families in their community who need it most. Last summer, the Dedicated Central Staff team led their seventh Team Up Challenge in partnership with Jason Martin, proprietor of the St. Luke Food Pantry. The team included ANGIE ROACH, GWENDOLYN BOZEMAN, MARILYN JONES, and Averitt Ambassador GINGER PICKLE . Ginger and Gwendolyn got the ball rolling when they saw a need and chose to work together to volunteer at the food bank. Marilyn and Angie soon joined in, strengthening our team’s impact on people in Lee County, Mississippi who are struggling with food security. Each year, the need continues to increase. The team has noticed more families coming for support and more food boxes being distributed than the year before. “Our Dedicated team’s contribution starts with prayer at 8 a.m., followed by a message from Jason Martin,” Marilyn explained. “Then we load food items into boxes, place them into a shopping cart, and load those boxes into recipients’ cars. Whatever was needed to assist.” Since the team’s first year of service, the St. Luke Food Pantry has grown not only in volunteers, but also in how it operates. What began with clipboards in 2018 has evolved into a system using tablets, allowing for faster and more accurate information while serving families efficiently. Over the years, the team has been accompanied by retired seniors from the St.
Members of our Dedicated team partnered with the St. Luke Food Pantry for their Team Up Community Challenge project.
Luke Church, local businesses, and even county inmates. They all come together with a common goal: to provide food to the hundreds of families in the area with food shortages. “I’m very proud of our Averitt team,” Marilyn said. “We’re proud to be a small team that follows the direction of Gary and Averitt’s culture.” Thank you to our Dedicated Central Staff team for inspiring all of us to be a part of a great cause, giving back to our community, and helping those around us. T m
The Team Up Community Challenge is a year-round initiative through which associates across Averitt’s network are encouraged to participate in local service projects. The initiative exemplifies the spirit of our Averitt family when we work together to serve our local communities . The company honors our associates’ community service hours by making matching contributions to our nonprofit charitable organization, Averitt Charities .

ANOTHER TOOL FOR THE TOOL BELT Many Advantages OF Using Cruise Control Maintaining the proper speed and following distance that cruise control is designed to be used on roadways
is an essential part of safe driving, and cruise control offers many advantages. Our tractors use radar to monitor vehicles in front of you, and adaptive cruise control will automatically reduce your speed to match the vehicle ahead. This enables the tractor to maintain a set distance from the vehicle no matter how it varies its speed. Cruise control can also help reduce muscle fatigue on long trips, relieving you of the need to keep your foot on the throttle. It’s important to remember
without frequent stops, turns or required driving maneuvers. Cruise control is not recommended for use during rain or other adverse driving conditions. In addition to safety advantages, using cruise control maximizes fuel economy by avoiding unnecessary acceleration and braking. So in the proper conditions and road situations, cruise control is a win-win for all of us! T m

FIVE-YEAR COMMITMENT TO HEALTH How Victor Hunt Lost 300+ Pounds, Gained More Time With His Kids
“Six months of counseling, and everything else was my will power... and kids power,” he explains. Victor’s advice to others starts with a mindset. “The biggest thing is counseling to get your mind right first and know it’s going to be tough,” he offers. “You have to have as many tools as you can to strengthen your mind and have a goal to where you’re trying to be.” MORE THAN WEIGHT LOSS “The most rewarding change beyond weight loss,” Victor says, “is more years added to my life, and more time around my kids.” Today, Victor is motivated to help others who may feel overwhelmed by the idea of starting. “Call me and I’ll help you through your journey. I have no problem being anybody’s coach,” he says. “I’m here to help anybody, help any driver. If I have to help 50 people, I don’t mind.” Victor achieved amazing results on his weight loss journey, and you can too! If you’re looking to improve your health, build better nutrition habits, or begin your own weight loss journey, we offer resources designed to support your overall wellness both mentally and physically. Through our partnership with ComPsych, the Employee Assistance Program (EAP) provides up to three confidential counseling sessions at no cost, available in person or virtually with a licensed counselor. These sessions can help with nutrition concerns, health-related stress, emotional challenges, and lifestyle changes that often accompany weight loss. To speak with a guidance consultant, call 877-533-2363 , or visit www.guidanceresources.com. To continue building healthy habits, HealthCheck 360’s Health Coaching and Support offers personalized coaching, regular check-ins, and easy- to-use tracking tools to help you set goals, stay accountable, and make lasting progress. To get started, call 866-511-0360 , ext. 5099, or email healthcoach@healthcheck360.com . T m With the help of some counseling and a solid weight-loss plan, Decatur associate VICTOR HUNT dropped more than 300 pounds.
For VICTOR HUNT , change didn’t happen overnight, and it didn’t come easily. He’s a city driver with our Decatur team who’s spent long hours on the road, building up habits that took a toll on his health. What followed was a five-year weight loss journey guided by discipline and determination. Looking back, Victor says his son and daughter were his biggest motivation and support. “If I’m all my kids have, I need to make sure to be around for them,” he says. “When it comes to having to take care of your kids, it motivates you to no limits.” When Victor began his journey, he weighed 575 pounds. Today, he weighs 242 pounds, the result of consistency and self-discipline. As his health declined, Victor said just moving around would leave him winded and sweating heavily. During his journey, he also required a blood transfusion after his hemoglobin levels dropped dangerously low, a sign of how much strain his body had been under. THE WORK BEHIND THE CHANGE Victor’s lifestyle hasn’t always looked the same. He began playing football at just 10 years old and continued through college. Afterward, he entered the transportation industry, and the unique demands of the job began to affect his health negatively. “When you’re driving, it’s easy to slip into a pattern of just driving and eating,” he says. “So I got big, and the muscle I had – the body and all that – eventually turned into fat.” The journey brought mental challenges alongside the physical ones. One of the hardest moments for Victor came when he saw a photo of himself wearing a shirt that read “World’s Greatest Dad.” The shirt he was wearing in the picture was an XL, while he wore a size 7XL at the time. “I developed some crazy eating habits, and I had to change everything,” says Victor. What started as a setback became motivation. “I had a goal and a reason: my kids, my health, I wanted to do better. And I needed to do better,” he says. “I am thankful that March 21 will be five years since I started this process.” So how did Victor make all this possible?

HOW RANDY REDEEMED SAFETY POINTS INTO A BUCKET LIST TRIP FROM THE ROAD TO LAS VEGAS RANDY CLARK is a driver with our Costco account out of Eastaboga, Alabama, and he checked a major item off his bucket list when he and his wife traveled to Las Vegas for the iHeart Radio Music Festival. Redeeming his Red Thinkin’ Rewards points, Randy landed two tickets to the event and turned everyday safe driving habits into a memorable adventure. Over his 10 years with the team, Randy has earned points through his everyday actions, with safety being his focus. “It starts in the morning when I walk up to my vehicle and do my pre-trip, because safety is the bottom line,” Randy says. “The next thing would be interactions with my leader and my customers, and overall, how I do my job.” A MUSICAL ADVENTURE Randy and his wife had been hoping to attend the iHeartRadio Music Festival someday, but they weren’t sure how to make it happen. “I remember seeing something about points,” Randy recalls. “After doing some research, I realized we could make this trip possible for just over 300,000 Red Thinkin’ Rewards points, thanks to my safe driving milestone.” This was an exciting moment for Randy’s wife, as it was her first time on a plane. He said that she loved every second, from the moment they took off in Birmingham. Everything about the trip felt special, but for Randy, the best part had nothing to do with the lights or the music. The best part was just being together. “We enjoyed our time in Vegas. It was wonderful and the people there were very gracious to us,” he says. Although the trip is over, the dream isn’t. His wife is already talking about going back next year, which means Randy has a new goal in mind: to save
