INTERVIEW MR. SAJID TARAR
BY DR. HUMA
QUESTION# 01 From law school to being an entrepreneur and now joining US politics - what inspired you to be a politician? Law is directly related to the politics, I have been studying political science all of my life. Being a son of a lawyer; who was a politician himself plus I belong to a political family too. In Pakistan my first cousin was MNA for five years in Pakistan People’s Party and now he is MPA from PTI platform in Pakistan so I would say my political exercise started taking place at my home. I was also a student leader during my years in Islamabad and Lahore then the reason why you know law and politics is same if you see the 70 percent of the legislature parties all over the world they are having lawyers and plus another point is most of the American presidents- they have been lawyers as well, because for the lawyers law is the professional way to deal with social and political issues either they are domestic law cases or property related or anything so this is basically how law impacts politics. QUESTION# 02 You are the founder of "Muslims for Trump"- how did that idea spark in the first place? Reason I have explained that I studied political science all of my life so the traditional politicians and legacy politics had taken the politics to the dead end. If you look at my political career, you will notice that for the very first time- already a self-made and established person came to politics after accomplishing his business empire. I was ready to accomplish further leadership and created a platform for “Muslims for Trump” . PAGE# 20
QUESTION# 03 During COVID-19 many lives have been lost in USA and many businesses have been affected - how do you see the economic future of USA? In terms of COVID- it started from China- there’s nothing wrong to call it China Virus. I think China needs to be held accountable because they didn't allow the World Health Organization scientists to go Wuhan where it started from and they refuse to let the American scientists to go Wuhanooh at the same time. COVID has the same impact as the 3rd World War for world economy and other related issues, no country was prepared to deal with covid. but the sad part is that COVID came to America covid did not go to the Shanghai and the Beijing. but it came to New York which is one of the social States of America. Unfortunately, when the COVID came here when the elections are near and Democratic parties one or two are politicizing the false propaganda; in reality, Donald Trump has done a wonderful job in handling COVID as there was not a single death which took place due to the heavy ventilators shortages and any hospital bed shortages but opponents have been still politicizing him regardless. QUESTION# 04 Who do you foresee the winner of Presidential elections 2020 and Why? Donald Trump is going to win because he has a huge list of accomplishments. He has accomplished more things in three and a half years versus Joe Biden who has accomplished in 50 years. If you look at it- there is only 3.4 percent un-employment as well as he is going after Antifa, ,Paris act, building a wall, drug mafia, bringing troops back from Afghanistan and he is indeed the first American president in history who is antiwar president who has strengthened the economic foundation of USA. The reason to establish this was first of all Muslims Americans to come together second thing is for the very first time President Trump identified the issue of terrorism and the other vital issues of Muslim communities such as ISIS, Taliban and Al Qaida as these parties have killed more Muslims than anybody else. President Trump e was determined and he is still determined to go against them. He has eliminated ISIS completely which was very violent who created a lot of trouble in the Middle East. Furthermore, his first international trip to Saudi Arabia and you probably have seen how the Middle East peace plan was executed by Mr. Trump. He has also assigned the freedom of religion act so, all of these thing is he has delivered for Muslims. Therefore, I have this organization called “Muslims for I’m also “Co-Chair of ”Muslim Voices for Trump”. I am the first Pakistani Muslim who has spoken at RNC 2016 so it was really very exciting and honorable title for me.. QUESTION# 05 If President Trump wins the election- how do you see the bilateral relationship between Pakistan and USA? The politics is all about public services and it shouldn’t be considered as a business. , If you look at the history- the more drone attacks place in Pakistan during Obama period- also I would like you to recall few things during the first Obama campaign during which he said that they if he wins the elections he is going to bomb Pakistan plus he was tilting towards India- he also said for the very first time that India is our partner. The word partner was actually status partnership that actually took place during the Obama period, another point I want to tell you is that republicans they have differences in terms of their portfolio. They believe in making the army strong and keeping the pentagon strong by fixing the foreign relationships by improving foreign policy. Additionally, what Donald Trump has done for Pakistan let’s start from the general assembly session sitting with Imran Khan inviting him to the White House and discussed the Kashmir issue for more Than a dozen times. All of these things identify that the republican party that Donald Trump is interested in having strong relationship with Pakistan.. He has also promoted efforts to execute Afghan peace plan that has been recognized several times. so, this I what I think if Donald Trump wins- he will develop strong relationship between Pakistan and USA.
QUESTION# 06 How do you manage your work life balance - what is the recipe of keep it all together? It is tough question. I have a strong faith first of all. I am very thankful to God that I am a very blessed person and each time when I do efforts at a certain point- I just leave it to the God to help me and guide me. So, faith is very important in my life. I have four beautiful children. I have three daughters and a son. Who is in the law school. My daughter has done bachelors with bio medical engineering and a Masters in system engineering plus here I would like to mention also that my youngest daughter she is a squash player she was number one in the US under 11 she was part of US team under 13. She has played British open and she has played against Canada and representing the US. Now. She is playing under fifteen and her number is 16 her ranking is 16 in the US. So, these things change my life and this is how I do that. QUESTION# 07 Who is your political inspiration or role model? I am much impressed by Quaid e Azam Muhammad Ali Jinnah - he was a tremendous politician; He is my ideal and I am very much inspired by Mahatma Gandhi at the same time. QUESTION# 08 What is the definition of success to you? I believe there is no shortcut to success you have to earn its if you personally ask as me one single thing that has helped me in my career is character. In my point of view, character matters regardless. ,I think strong character and being humble in my life are the reasons of my success. QUESTION# 09 How do you feel about being on the BGN platform I am so thankful to BGN platform. Dr. Huma I have seen your portfolio; you are such an accomplished person yourself. It is such an honor and am very humble to be on this platform of BGN where you are publishing my interview. I am looking forward to serve the same cause and part of your mission which you have taken for the BGN. I want people to take part in local politics and develop a relationship with your local politicians, volunteer for the campaigns and take practical part in politics. This is the way of integration in to society. Start loving America. America is such a beautiful country and we have to be very thankful what America offers to us. QUESTION# 10 I want people to take part in local politics and develop a relationship with your local politicians, volunteer for the campaigns and take practical part in politics. This is the way of integration in to society. Start loving America. America is such a beautiful country and we have to be very thankful what America offers to us. Any message for the readers especially our youth.

THE STOCK MARKET IS SENDING MIXED SIGNALS ONWHOWILL WIN THE PRESIDENTIAL ELECTION, LPL SAYS
PAGE# 25
The stock market is sending a mixed signal to investors on who will win the presidential election, according to a note from LPL Research. A rising S&P 500 in the three months preceding the election favors Donald Trump to win re-election, while a surge in a basket of stocks including green energy names favors a Joe Biden win. "We think it's going to be a lot closer than the polls may suggest right now, similar to what we saw in 2016," LPL Chief Market Strategist Ryan Detrick said.
The stock market has a knack for correctly predicting who will win the presidential election, but it's sending mixed signals this time around. Since 1984, the stock market correctly predicted the outcome of every presidential election based on the performance in the three months leading up to it. If the market was up in those three months, the incumbent party would win, and if the market was lower in those three months, the incumbent party would lose. Since 1928, this methodology has correctly predicted which party would win the presidential election 87% of the time. With Election Day less than one month away and early voting taking place in many states across the country, it remains an unknown whether President Trump or Joe Biden will win the election. But with the S&P 500 up nearly 7% since August 3, the stock market is predicting that Trump will win re-election, LPL Research said in a note on Wednesday.
thousands to see which stocks are on Jim Osman's buy list. He details 2 he sees doubling, and one that has at least 50% left to soar. On the flipside, a basket of stocks known as the "Biden portfolio" has significantly outperformed its corresponding "Trump portfolio" year-to-date, suggesting that Biden will win the election, LPL highlighted. The Trump and Biden portfolios were compiled by Strategas Research and are made up of stocks that investors view as likely to benefit from a Trump or Biden presidency, respectively.
outperformed thanks to a surge in green energy stocks, which would likely benefit from Biden's renewable energy policy proposals. So which election-predicting market indicator is right? Investors will know for sure after the election, but LPL Chief Market Strategist Ryan Detrick views the conflicting messages as a sign that the election will likely be a closer call than the polls are letting on.

Donald Trump is cratering among women in the suburbs, losing support among senior citizens and facing a wave of Democratic early voting. With 20 days left until November 3, Trump faces as daunting a challenge to reelection as any incumbent president in a quarter-century. Joe Biden is predicted to win in most election forecasts. He also holds a robust lead in the national polls — 10 percentage points, according to the RealClearPolitics polling average. And in the 8 states POLITICO has identified as critical battlegrounds — Arizona, Florida, Georgia, Michigan, Minnesota, North Carolina, Pennsylvania and Wisconsin — Biden has a lead in all but one of them. The selection of these swing states is based on a variety of factors — polling, demography, past and recent election history, voter registration, interviews with state and local party officials, strategists and pollsters. The individual campaigns have also revealed the places they are prioritizing through staffing, resource allocation, TV and radio advertising and candidate visits. When POLITICO first chronicled these swing states after Labor Day, the roadmap ahead for Trump and Biden was clear. The president needed to max
out his performance with rural voters, halt his erosion in the suburbs, and turn out white working-class voters who didn’t vote in 2016. Biden needed a big turnout African-American voters — increase his share among Latino voters and recapture some of the places that flipped to Trump after twice voting for President Barack Obama. in the big cities -- particularly among While it’s too early to tell how successful each has been at meeting those goals, one thing seems clear from our most recent reporting — Trump has failed to turn his fortunes around in the suburbs, particularly among women. “Honestly, all the moms I know, we are really nervous about our kids, what kind of future they’re going to have. And Trump is the one making us nervous,” a woman in suburban Livingston County told Tim Alberta. Swing state Republicans aren’t entirely convinced that Trump’s situation is dire. While acknowledging the obstacles to his reelection, they are quick to point out a salient fact: Trump also trailed in polls in many battleground states at this point in 2016 only to win them narrowly on Election Day. They report high enthusiasm within the GOP base and deep support for the president in rural America — support that isn’t being captured in
the polls, they say. In Wisconsin, Republican Party Chair Andrew Hitt told Natasha Korecki, the rural counties that powered Trump’s 2016 win are “glowing bright red. We really have no concerns that the rural vote is going to turn out for the president.”
Here’s a closer look at the eight swing states that will decide the 2020 election:
Arizona In Arizona, Donald Trump’s handling of the pandemic is proving costly, leaving him struggling to match his 2016 performance among those over the age of 65. October polling shows Biden is chipping away at Trump’s support among older white voters, especially among the once reliably Republican senior population in populous Maricopa County. — Laura Barrón-López ELECTORAL VOTES: 11 RECENT POLL: D+2 2016 VOTE: R+4 Florida Republicans typically hold a slight edge in absentee ballot returns in Florida elections. But this year, for the first time ever at this stage of a general election, Democrats here are outvoting Republicans -- and by a huge margin. The unprecedented early voting numbers have electrified Democrats, but campaign veterans warn that a wave of Republican votes is coming on Election Day. — Marc Caputo ELECTORAL VOTES: 29 RECENT POLL: D+3 2016 VOTE: R+1 Georgia Most of the attention in Georgia this year is directed toward Atlanta’s populous suburbs, which have turned hard against Republicans in the Trump era, But the outcome might come down to a less scrutinized force in this state: white rural voters. And Donald Trump has room to grow his support there. — Elena Schneider ELECTORAL VOTES: 16 RECENT POLL: R<1 2016 VOTE: R+5 Michigan All three Rust Belt states that Trump improbably won in 2016 – Michigan, Pennsylvania and Wisconsin -- are problematic for the president this year. But Michigan is where things look bleakest. His support has diminished among the white working-class. Black turnout appears certain to rebound after a dismal showing in 2016. New laws that allow for early voting and no-excuse-absentee balloting are expected to push voter participation to historic levels, with Democrats the expected beneficiary of low-propensity Michiganders flooding the ballot box. — Tim Alberta ELECTORAL VOTES: 16 RECENT POLL: D+6 2016 VOTE: R+0 Minnesota Donald Trump has fixated on Minnesota since his narrow loss to Hillary Clinton there four years ago. But he’s not running as well with white voters and independents as in 2016. And with less than a month until the election, his prospects are dimming. — David Siders ELECTORAL VOTES: 10 RECENT POLL: D+9 2016 VOTE: d+2
Here’s a closer look at the eight swing states that will decide the 2020 election:
North Carolina What happens in fast-growing Mecklenburg and Wake counties will shape the political landscape long past November. The two counties, by far the most populous in the state, are expected to play a decisive role in the presidential race, a closely contested Senate race and the governor’s contest. — Michael Kruse ELECTORAL VOTES: 15 RECENT POLL: D+2 2016 VOTE: R+4 Pennsylvania Republicans typically hold a slight edge in absentee ballot returns in Florida elections. But this year, for the first time ever at this stage of a general election, Democrats here are outvoting Republicans -- and by a huge margin. The unprecedented early voting numbers have electrified Democrats, but campaign veterans warn that a wave of Republican votes is coming on Election Day. — Marc Caputo ELECTORAL VOTES: 20 RECENT POLL: D+6 2016 VOTE: R+1 Wisconsin A confluence of events over the past month — all seeming to favor Democrats — has shifted the dynamics in this Rust Belt battleground. Wisconsin plunged into its worst bout with Covid-19 since the onset of the pandemic, reminding voters of the uneven response from the Trump administration as well as the president’s early attempts to dismiss the severity of the virus. A Green Party candidate was not allowed on the ballot — erasing the prospect of a third-party siphoning of votes that contributed to Hillary Clinton’s 2016’s race razor-thin defeat. And there are increasing signs that key constituencies whom Donald Trump needs to defeat Biden, including suburban and swing voters, are moving away from him. — Natasha Korecki ELECTORAL VOTES: 10 RECENT POLL: D+6 2016 VOTE: R+1

WHY ARE SOME PEOPLE MORE SUCCESSFUL THAN OTHERS?
YOU DON'T DECIDE YOUR FUTURE YOU DECIDE YOUR HABITS AND YOUR HABITS DECIDE YOUR FUTURE.
No one succeeds overnight and no one fails. Overnight success is nothing more than a sum of small efforts repeated day in and day out.
Today, I want to share with you the 10 successful habits that I have learned and developed over the years.
PAGE# 35
Successful people take 100 % responsibility for their own life. I failed many times in my life and my mentor said that I wasn't taking responsibility for my own life. I don’t have to blame the situations, the circumstances for my failures. The decisions we make are our choices, then why blame someone else. Unless and until you take 100 percent responsibility for your own life, you're not going to be successful. And from then on, I learned to take responsibility. So that's habit number one. Take 100 percent responsibility for your own life.
You have to decide exactly what you want. Most people in life don't get what they want because they don't know what they want.
Set a goal now. What is it that you want?
You have to know exactly what you want. Once you know exactly what you want then only you can plan to achieve it. Do we go on a vacation without deciding the destination? Do we take a flight randomly to any place? Then why don’t we think over the journey of our own life?
You have to believe it is possible. That's it. You just have to believe that it is possible not just for others, but for yourself. It's possible for you. Napoleon Hill talks about this in Think and Grow Rich, whatever your mind can conceive and believe you can achieve. And it's very, very true. You have to first believe that you can do it. Highly successful people visualize success. Once you take 100 percent responsibility, that you can make it happen. And you believe that you can make it happen.
I visualize success. I wanted to gift the first copy of my book the legend singer Sonu Nigam. So I cut a page from a magazine that had his picture on it giving an award to someone, I did some Photoshop and made it look like I was gifting him my book and I put it on my vision board. I looked at it every day and I would visualize and visualize it until it becomes so vivid in my mind that I could see it, smell it, feel it. And it happened.
First, you have to believe that you deserve it first before the result would come along. Is the other way around? Start telling your subconscious mind that you have already achieved it. Stat living like that. Your subconscious mind is very powerful and it will pave the way for you to achieve all that you desire.
Successful people are willing to pay the price. So it's one thing to dream. It's one thing to believe. But at the end of the day, you have to do something right. You have to be willing to pay the price. Even if it’s simply buying a car. It's quite easy to calculate. And precisely how much it's going to cost that car. The focus on generating enough income to pay for that. So when your friends are partying, when they were just wasting time, do you think you will work? So one of the questions that you have to ask yourself is what price are you willing to pay for success? What are you willing to give up? What are you willing to sacrifice?
Because there's always a tradeoff.
Successful people feel the fear and they do it anyway. Lot of people think that successful people have no fears. Of course, they have fears. Of course, they have doubts. Of course, they are afraid to make a decision sometimes. They are human beings. The difference is they don't let fear stop them. They don’t let fear dictate what they are or what they are not going to do.
Don’t let ego stop you from seeking mentorship. Despite being a gold medalist in college, Despite having a 2 decade of experience, finding a mentor changed my life. It turned my life around seeking mentorship. I don't have all the answers. I don't know everything. There's no way someone knows everything. And the more you learn, the more you realize how little you know. The mentor will give you the mindset and the skill set that will help you to achieve your goals.
Successful people have enthusiasm.
Successful people commit to constant improvement.
Are you going to accomplish anything if you don't approach anything with passion and are enthusiastic about it? You may not be the best at it right now, but if you are enthusiastic and your belief and your passion incredibly passionate about what you do, you're going to make it happen. So that's a very, very key habit that kind of makes everything work. And that leads to the last habit.
They also never stop improving. It's always about becoming better, becoming a better version of themselves. Each day spend some time honing your skills. Accept your areas of improvement, become self-aware, and then work on it. If you can't fly, then run, if you can't run, then walk, if you can't walk, then crawl, but whatever you do, you have to keep moving... Martin Luther King Jr.

According to the World Health Organization (WHO), mental health is
A state of well-being in which the individual realizes his or her own abilities, can cope with the normal stresses of life, can work productively and fruitfully, and is able to make a contribution to his or her community The concept that mental health is not merely the absence of mental illness was unanimously endorsed, while the equivalence between mental health and well-being/functioning was not, and a definition leaving room for a variety of emotional states and for “imperfect functioning” was drafted.
THE PROPOSED DEFINITION IS REPORTED HERE WITH: PAGE# 45
“Mental health is a dynamic state of internal equilibrium which enables individuals to use their abilities in harmony with universal values of society. Basic cognitive and social skills; ability to recognize, express and modulate one's own emotions, as well as empathize with others; flexibility and ability to cope with adverse life events and function in social roles; and harmonious relationship between body and mind represent important components of mental health which contribute, to varying degrees, to the state of internal equilibrium.” The question arises what is meant in the definition by the expression “universal values” is deemed necessary, in the light of the misleading use of this expression in certain political and social circumstances. The values here referred to are: respect and care for oneself and other living beings; recognition of connectedness between people; respect for the environment; respect for one's own and others' freedom. The concept of “dynamic state of internal equilibrium” is meant to reflect the fact that different life epochs require changes in the achieved equilibrium: adolescent crises, marriage, becoming a parent or retirement are good examples of life epochs requiring an active search for a new mental equilibrium. This concept also incorporates and acknowledges the reality that mentally healthy people may experience appropriate human emotions – including for example fear, anger, sadness and grief – whilst at the same time possessing sufficient resilience to timeously restore the dynamic state of internal equilibrium.
For much of history, the mentally ill have been treated very poorly. It was believed that mental illness was caused by demonic possession, witchcraft, or an angry god. For example, in medieval times, abnormal behaviors were viewed as a sign that a person was possessed by demons. If someone was considered to be possessed, there were several forms of treatment to release spirits from the individual. A small hole was made in the afflicted individual’s skull to release spirits from the body. Most people treated in this manner died. In addition to exorcism and trephining, other practices involved execution or imprisonment of people with psychological disorders. Still others were left to be homeless beggars. Generally speaking, most people who exhibited strange behaviors were greatly misunderstood and treated cruelly. From the late 1400s to the late 1600s, a common belief perpetuated by some religious organizations was that some people made pacts with the devil and committed horrible acts, such as eating babies (Blumberg, 2007). These people were considered to be witches and were tried and condemned by courts—they were often burned at the stake. Worldwide, it is estimated that tens of thousands of mentally ill people were killed after being accused of being witches or under the influence of witchcraft (Hemphill, 1966) By the 18th century, people who were considered odd and unusual were placed in asylums. Asylums were the first institutions created for the specific purpose of housing people with psychological disorders but the focus was
ostracizing them from society rather than treating their disorders. Often these people were kept in windowless dungeons, beaten, chained to their beds, and had little to no contact with caregivers. In the late 1700s, a French physician, Philippe Pinel, argued for more humane treatment of the mentally ill. He suggested that they be unchained and talked to. Patients benefited from this more humane treatment, and many were able to leave the hospital In the 19th century, Dorothea Dix led reform efforts for mental health care in the United States. She investigated how those who are mentally ill and poor were cared for, and she discovered an underfunded and unregulated system that perpetuated abuse of this population (Tiffany, 1891). Horrified by her findings, Dix began lobbying various state legislatures and the U.S. Congress for change. Her efforts led to the creation of the first mental asylums in the United states. Starting in 1954 and gaining popularity in the 1960s, antipsychotic medications were introduced. These proved a tremendous help in controlling the symptoms of certain psychological disorders, such as psychosis. Psychosis was a common diagnosis of individuals in mental hospitals, and it was often evidenced by symptoms like hallucinations and delusions, indicating
a loss of contact with reality. Then in 1963, Congress passed and John F. Kennedy signed the Mental Retardation Facilities and Community Mental Health Centers Construction Act, which provided federal support and funding for community mental health centers (National Institutes of Health, 2013). This legislation changed how mental health services were delivered in the United States. It started the process of deinstitutionalization, the closing of large asylums, by providing for people to stay in their communities and be treated locally. In 1955, there were 558,239 severely mentally ill patients institutionalized at public hospitals (Torrey, 1997). By 1994, by percentage of the population, there were 92% fewer hospitalized individuals (Torrey, 1997). The 1970s, paved the way for modern mental health research by focusing on the day to day experience of people living with mental health problems at a time when research was solely laboratory focused. Putting people with mental illness at the center of our work and learning from them is something that we still do today, by implementing peer-to-peer and self-management strategies that help people to help themselves and others.
The period 1990–2000 was declared the decade of the brain, and research in the neurosciences was favored. During this period Prozac and other selective serotonin reuptake inhibiters (SSRIs) dominated treatment of depression. Although no more effective than earlier antidepressants, they were more acceptable to patients and doctors, and their use increased threefold. Over the past 20 years, research on the prevention of mental disorders has progressed. The understanding of how the brain functions under normal conditions and in response to stressors, combined with knowledge of how the brain develops over time, has been essential to that progress.
MEB disorders are common and begin early in life
The greatest opportunity for prevention is among young people
There are multiyear effects of multiple preventive interventions on reducing substance abuse, conduct disorder, antisocial behavior, aggression, and child maltreatment
The incidence of depression among pregnant women and adolescents can be reduced
School-based violence prevention can reduce the base rate of aggressive problems in an average school by 25 to 33 percent
There are potential indicated preventive interventions for schizophrenia
Improving family functioning and positive parenting can have positive outcomes on mental health and can reduce poverty-related risk School-based preventive interventions aimed at improving social and emotional outcomes can also improve academic outcomes Interventions targeting families dealing with adversities, such as parental depression or divorce, can be effective in reducing risk for depression among children and increasing effective parenting Some preventive interventions have benefits that exceed costs, with the available evidence strongest for early childhood interventions Implementation is complex, and it is important that interventions be relevant to the target audiences. The progress identified above has led to a stronger understanding of the importance of protective factors. A 2009 Institute of Medicine (IOM) report advocates for multidisciplinary prevention strategies at the community level that support the development of children in healthy social environments.7 In addition to advancements in the prevention of mental disorders, there continues to be steady progress in treating mental disorders as new drugs and stronger evidence-based outcomes become available.
In recent years, there has been increasing acknowledgement of the important role mental health plays in achieving global development goals, as illustrated by the inclusion of mental health in the Sustainable Development Goals. Depression is one of the leading causes of disability. Suicide is the second leading cause of death among 15-29-year-olds. People with severe mental health conditions die prematurely –
as much as two decades early – due to preventable physical conditions.Despite progress in some countries, people with mental health conditions often experience severe human rights violations, discrimination, and stigma. Many mental health conditions can be effectively treated at relatively low cost, yet the gap between people needing care and those with access to care remains substantial. Effective
treatment coverage remains extremely low.Increased investment is required on all fronts: for mental health awareness to increase understanding and reduce stigma; for efforts to increase access to quality mental health care and effective treatments; and for research to identify new treatments and improve existing treatments for all mental disorders. In 2019, WHO launched the WHO Special Initiative for Mental Health (2019-2023):
Universal Health Coverage for Mental Health to ensure access to quality and affordable care for mental health conditions in 12 priority countries to 100 million more people. Emotional mental disorders are a leading cause of disabilities worldwide. Investigating the degree and severity of untreated emotional mental disorders throughout the world is a top priority of the World Mental Health (WMH) survey initiative, which was created in 1998 by the World Health Organization (WHO). "Neuropsychiatric disorders are the leading causes of disability worldwide, accounting for 37% of all healthy life years lost through disease. These disorders are most destructive to low and middle-income countries due to their inability to provide their citizens with proper aid. Despite modern treatment and rehabilitation for emotional mental health disorders, "even economically advantaged societies have competing priorities and budgetary constraints". The World Mental Health survey initiative has suggested a plan for countries to redesign their mental health care systems to best allocate resources. "A first step is documentation of services being used and the extent and nature of unmet needs for treatment. A second step could be to do a cross-national comparison of service use and unmet needs in countries with
different mental health care systems. Such comparisons can help to uncover optimum financing, national policies, and delivery systems for mental health care. Knowledge of how to provide effective emotional mental health care has become imperative worldwide. The progress we have made in shaking the stigma and extending help to those who need it is remarkable in just the last decade. Where we stand today the future of mental health looks more cemented and growing.

PAGE# 52
Every time you scroll through your social media feeds do you constantly come across people who seem to have endless energy and workout every day? Do you find it hard to exercise and motivate yourself to workout?
Then, do you find yourself saying “GOSH, why can’t I do that”? and asking, “how do I make myself like exercise?“
Or maybe you enjoy exercising, but often just can’t get in the mood to workout? Are you desperately searching for ways to motivate yourself?
I have the answers for you.
HOW TO GET YOURSELF TO
I know that it’s hard to keep motivated to exercise consistently. Consistency is a mindset and discipline that is not easy to achieve on a regular day, let alone during pandemic times!
But if you’re serious about living a healthier lifestyle and want to learn how to motivate yourself to work our regularly? Keep reading…
It starts with mindset. This means, no more negative thoughts like:
“I hate working out”
“I’m sick of the gym but I should force myself to go to the gym anyway”
Instead, here’s what you’ll do…
01
VISUALIZE YOUR DREAM LIFE AND YOUR DREAM YOU!
Working out DOES make you happier. Find out how below. Visualize what you want from your life. There’s a reason why in the back of your mind, you KNOW you should exercise regularly. There’s also reason why this keeps nagging at you. Do you want to be healthier for your kids? Do you want to do it for YOU? So YOU can finally feel amazing wearing that cute bikini? Is there a health condition that you need to improve through exercise?
While COVID-19 may have interfered with your plans, it doesn’t mean you shouldn’t stay active, look after your body and start working on your health GOALS.
Every day, when you wake up, spend 5 minutes visualizing what a healthier YOU looks like and how it would improve your life.

ADDRESS LIMITING BELIEFS AND PROCRASTINATION
What are some common limiting thoughts/fears and general procrastination that prevent you from pursuing a better lifestyle? Let’s talk it out… I HAVE NO MOTIVATION TO EXERCISE WHEN TIRED
We’re all tired. We all have the same 24 hours in the day. YES, some people have much more physically demanding jobs and lives than others, BUT don’t let tiredness be the roadblock to better health. In fact, exercise can help with that, it’s one of the many proven benefits. Exercising and increasing your heart rate releases endorphins which in turn, raises your energy levels.
A 20 minute workout even when you’re a little tired is better than no workout. And you’ll feel so much better when you’re done!
Take a walk around the neighborhood, a 20 minute run on the treadmill, a HIIT circuit at home, a 10 minute ab workout…just move your body for a little bit! I CAN’T/DON’T WANT TO GO TO THE GYM AND EXERCISING AT HOME IS POINTLESS Wrong! Don’t underestimate the power of a good home workout! But how do you get motivated to exercise at home?
Plan and schedule your workouts Create a dedicated space in your house for working out Get dressed as if you were going to the gym or to a class Do it with a friend (you can also do it through FaceTime) Show up! The hardest part is showing up, everything after is cake!
I HAVE NO MOTIVATION TO WORK OUT ALONE Although you’ll often find groups of people at the gym socializing like they’re at happy hour more than exercising, exercising can be so rewarding when done alone.
Due to COVID-19, I know a lot of people no longer have access to group classes, a gym, face to face time with trainers or gym dates with friends.
BUT, you don’t have to be completely, alone. There are ways you can motivate yourself to workout alone, but feel less alone! Let me explain…
Video call a friend: As I mentioned above, if you had a gym buddy, just plan out a time to workout together through FaceTime or Zoom Find an online community: There are tons of Facebook and Instagram groups where people share their journeys and experiences with likeminded individuals on the same path. Give yourself goals and rewards: TRY to work out alone. Maybe you’ll see that it’s not so bad when you try it! You won’t know unless you try! Hold yourself accountable for your goals, and when you achieve them reward yourself. Track your progress: Only you can be accountable for your own progress, and when you start seeing the results, it’ll be enough motivation to stay motivated to workout alone AND at home.
Exercise aside, learning how to enjoy your own company and focusing on something for YOU is something that everyone should be doing to keep a healthy mindset. This way, whatever life throws at you, you’ll be better prepared to deal with. AND YES! EXERCISE MAKES YOU FEEL HAPPIER AMONGST OTHER THINGS! FIND OUT HOW BELOW..
THE BENEFITS OF EXERCISING REGULARLY
Here are some of the benefits working out regularly will bring you.
Makes you feel happier Helps with weight and fat loss Increases energy levels and focus Better sleep and immunity
ARE YOU READY TO LEARN HOW-TO MOTIVATE YOURSELF TO WORK OUT? If you are serious about leading a healthy lifestyle and focusing on YOU, doing just a few of these every day will be a game changer for how you approach fitness. So, how can you motivate yourself to work out? I’m sharing 5 things I have taught myself to do over the years to help me find the motivation to take 1 hour out of my day for myself, doing something that will have a positive impact on my body and mind.
Here are 5 fitness motivation tips for beginners AND seasoned gym junkies!
1. BUY WORK OUT OUTFITS YOU LOVE It may sound silly but TRUST ME, it works! When I first started working out I had 1 pair of old leggings, no sports bra (YES, I wore my every day bras to work out) and I’d wear a $2 tank top from Forever 21!
When I started investing in ACTUAL work out clothes I actually started getting excited to go to the gym and wear them.
Plus I liked looking at myself in the mirror working out in these cute clothes and I feel like they definitely helped me getting that “pumped” feeling.

Buy leggings that are COMFORTABLE and make you feel good . I only wear high-waisted leggings and no capris as my calves are too thick to look good in them haha.
My favorite leggings are: Echt’s Scrunch Leggings II (pictured below) Ryderwear Bombshell Sportswear
My favorite motivational/funny workout tops from Amazon. Links below. Pro-tip: Buy tops from Amazon! I always find the funniest, motivating quotes tops on Amazon pretty cheap. The above are my current favorites: Fit-ish top, Good vibes only top, Gym and tonic top. Buy tops that are seasonal in color (pastels and fluorescent colors for summer, darker colors for winter etc.) or with motivational sayings! This way you keep your closet fresh! Feeling pretty confident already? Don’t even wear a top! Some high-waisted leggings and a sports bra can do wonders for your confidence while you work out (hello popping muscles)!
Whatever makes you feel happy and good about yourself!

2. PLAN YOUR WORKOUT ROUTINE THE DAY BEFORE
Have you ever showed up to the gym, or laid out all the equipment at home but had no plan and no idea what to do and can’t motivate yourself to work out?
Then you end up working out for 20 minutes feeling completely lost, not putting 100% into it and feeling like you’re not getting anywhere?
The key is to have a plan. Knowing what you’re doing will not only lead to a longer, more engaged workout, but it’ll also make you work out harder, and feel accomplished. A plan will set up goals for you to achieve, leading to increased focus during your workout so you can on achieve your them (example, working out longer so you can check everything off your list). It’ll also make you work out harder because again, you have goals to achieve. This will ultimately give you a feeling of accomplishment at the end (imagine having that feeling every day).
