Artist: Fatemeh Heidarpour, Iranian Artist, with around 10 years experience as a professional painter. Statement: “The theme of my artworks is “identity” with emphasis on “individual identity” and its relation with the will, right of choice, and self-expression in the era and geography that I live in and form my lived experience, and for representation it, I use figures, objects, and animals symbolically. I think the body of any individual is beginning and end of her or his existence. It is the horizon and sign of individuality that the person- ality of man has root in that, we can’t consider the body as a thing that doesn’t affect identity. My concern begins from where this body forced by determination of geography, time, tradition, mores, visions, an identity made by others and the worse of all this, self-suppression.But the woman in my artworks as if ask about her begin and her identity, so she bears the burden of a new birth.” . . .

Artist: Nazanin ZadMehr, Iraninan Artist. From “The Next City” Collection, 2021 Statement: The next city is a piece of address which does not identify with a specific location and there is also no assurance for it to be found. It is merely a promising hope for the pedestrian who is looking forward to the destination city. The next city bears the same address which might be asked a passerby or be noticed on a road sign. They have been looking for the next city traveling for kilometers. They have spent days and nights on the road.As they have arrived in “the next city” they had been told that the destination was the next city. But the next city was where the people were trapped in the confinement of a series of unorthodox and mind-blowing events. The people who ultimately decided to get used to these changes and adapt themselves to all of those tremendous and spontaneous problems. The people of the next city, unbelievably replied to newcomers :”The next city, the one behind the grey mountains, might be the city”.

Artist: Fatemeh Ebrahimi, Iranian Artist. Statement: Most of the time we live in our minds more than reality; in an unknown labyrinth that seems to have no time or place and perhaps, in general, with no past and present or future. It is more like a baffling memory in which images are juxtaposed within each other, unintegrated, like a narrator that recounts life without a specific definition of time and place and we are unable to encapsulate in a sentence and feed our brain to express it through language. Collage are pieces of time and situation that together shape the subjective concepts and most of our external life events remain in a shroud of ambiguity until they are revealed.

Artist: Vinod Kulkarni I am a passionate & a serious photographer who loves to capture nature, landscape, wildlife (incl macro), architecture & cityscape. For me photography is one of the best ways to capture a moment which will neither reoccur naturally nor can it be recreated by us ar- tificially. Through my photography, I showcase the colourful nature and wildlife which we are blessed with. To protect our nature, one of the first steps is to make people aware of what we have today and my photographs are focused more on this.Over the years many of which have won both National and International awards in Salon/Exhibitions and other contests. Some of my work has been featured in National Geographic and a few other magazines & newspapers. In March 2020, one of my favourite photographs is published as a cover page of a Religion Textbook “Religion Matters” by W W Norton publication, with 99k copies of prints rights. This book is written by Stephen Prothero. Statement: Rituals are at the centre of everything we do, this is the way we all have lived and it will continue for generations to come. It is our responsibility to pass on our culture and all the rituals to the next generation so that it can live for many more years to come. This was shot in a small town of Karnataka, Shravanabelagola, where thousands of devotees especially from Jain religion come every month to offer their prayers to Lord Bahubhali. The priest was offering kumkma water (red) right onto the idol’s feet, a memorable moment. This image also reminds that even though devotees come and go, the ritual has to continue day in and day out and the priest is the one who sacrifices and lives his life serving the almighty. Artist: Stefania Eucalipti : I graduated from the Rome, Academy of Fine Arts in 2009 and I participated in various artistic competi- tions, one of which is very important is that of Federculture in 2010 where Michelangelo Pistoletto was present on the jury. I have visited many art exhibitions and museums both in Italy and abroad because I believe that only by looking at the work of great artists can we grow and improve. As for my painting, it is characterized by a strong sign and a vigorous brushstroke of an expressionist type. I love bright colors very much and they tell me I have a Van Gogh palette. When I paint I like to interpret what I see by putting my personality, I never make a mere copy. Statement: Gone are the times when the woman was portrayed as being condemned to work the fields .... today she is also a billiard player!
