100 Foot receiver range. Monitor pressure on fixture pools with up to 200 pallets! Each transmitter can monitor either 1, 2 or 4 pressure switches. Continuous monitoring throughout the machining cycle.
Simple integration into your automation controller using industry standard connectors. Easy to install and powered from Machine Tool (CNC machine) 24 VDC power supply. No more tool crashes. Guard your spindle from fixture pressure loss with wireless pressure monitoring using Vektek pressure switches and Vektek Guardian system. The transmitter is powered by common lithium CR2 batteries and has a life of up to 5 years. - Low power modes to save battery life while in storage or automatically go to sleep when not in use. Inputs are opto-isolated to protect electrical circuits and allow for syncing and sourcing I/O. Extended transmitting range designed for large machines, linear pallet pool systems, and even small applications such as vertical machining centers. Housing with aluminum base for excellent durability. - Chip and high pressure coolant abrasion resistant. - IP-67 rated using high quality seals. - Able to withstand high RPM from a vertical turning lathe. - Compact design allows for easy fit on new or existing installations. Pallet Identification system that simplifies integration and can be used for pallet management. - Outputs for discrete identification up to 32 pallets. Or Pallet ID via serial RS485 for identifying unlimited number of pallets. In-cycle input to tell the Guardian when the pallet is in the machining area. Status monitoring outputs that include pressure, battery level, connection status, and M-code acknowledgement via internal isolated relay contacts. Standard USB-C port for firmware updates in the field.

The Guardian ™ gives you wireless hydraulic pressure monitoring configured for your machine tool fixtures. Equipped with an IP 67 sealed pressure switch, sealed Fixture Transmitter and shielded industrial connectors; Guardian ™ ensures positive pressure monitoring even in the harshest environments. Best of all, you will enjoy easy pressure monitoring with no interference issues. The Simple Guardian™ installs with only four wires (two power wires and a pair of relay connected wires). It is a quick and clean installation needing no modifications to the machine tool control. Confirms Positive-Pressure is present - "Focused Field" Fixture Proximity Transmitters require no batteries, EVER! Nothing to replace. - Wires into your supplied 20-36 VDC supply. - Samples and confirms pressure before, after and even during machining when the fixture can be in a known location and is not in motion. Can be used outside the machine before or after machining to confirm pressure is present. Can be used to monitor inside the machine enclosure when the fixture is at a predetermined location and stationary while pressure confirmation is checked. - The Simple Convenience package includes everything you need to monitor 1 circuit on 2 fixtures before they enter the machine. Runs on your Okuma Machine with OSP-200 or OSP-300 HMI controller. Clamp & Unclamp desired sequences are displayed on your OKUMA Controller (HMI) and available for configuration within minutes of installation. 1.) Plug the RJ45 Ethernet connection from pump to CNC electrical panel. 2.) Install via a USB the Vektek Thinc app directly to the HMI of the OKUMA CNC. The Vektek Thinc App program is included in your pump package. 3.) With the download completed your OKUMA Control Panel (HMI) becomes your complete interface between pump and machine. ROTARY UNIONS
Rotating unions are a rotary connection, feeding pressure to fixtures while allowing full 360° rotation of the fixture with or without pressure. A machine or independent indexer may do this indexing. Rotating unions allow “live” hydraulic power to be supplied to fixtures during the machining cycle. Single, dual, quad, 6, 8 and 12 path models are available to fit your application. Solidly bolt into place either the shaft or the housing component of the rotary union; not both. Mount the opposing component using a cableway or similar anti-rotation device to allow for some movement in the event of misalignment.
The leak free design eliminates the need for a drain or vent line required by standard industrial models. This feature also reduces the demand for pressure present in industrial models that can cause pump cycling. All units include internal bearings to increase life under loaded applications. Quad path models are often installed in machine doors to feed two independent dual path models on fixtures, making VektorFlo ® the choice for all of your machine clamping needs. Integral mounting holes and multiple plumbing options make VektorFlo ® designs easier to use than specialized larger industrial model.
