The Guardian ™ gives you wireless hydraulic pressure monitoring configured for your machine tool fixtures. Equipped with an IP 67 sealed pressure switch, sealed Fixture Transmitter and shielded industrial connectors; Guardian ™ ensures positive pressure monitoring even in the harshest environments. Best of all, you will enjoy easy pressure monitoring with no interference issues. The Simple Guardian™ installs with only four wires (two power wires and a pair of relay connected wires). It is a quick and clean installation needing no modifications to the machine tool control. Confirms Positive-Pressure is present - "Focused Field" Fixture Proximity Transmitters require no batteries, EVER! Nothing to replace. - Wires into your supplied 20-36 VDC supply. - Samples and confirms pressure before, after and even during machining when the fixture can be in a known location and is not in motion. Can be used outside the machine before or after machining to confirm pressure is present. ROTARY UNIONS

Rotating unions are a rotary connection, feeding pressure to fixtures while allowing full 360° rotation of the fixture with or without pressure. A machine or independent indexer may do this indexing. Rotating unions allow “live” hydraulic power to be supplied to fixtures during the machining cycle.  Single, dual, quad, 6, 8 and 12 path models are available to fit your application.  SAE 6 models are required for major fluid Standard Features Single, Dual, Quad, 6, 8 and 12 Flow Path Models

Solidly bolt into place either the shaft or the housing component of the rotary union; not both. Mount the opposing component using a cableway or similar anti-rotation device to allow for some movement in the event of misalignment.

The leak free design eliminates the need for a drain or vent line required by standard industrial models. This feature also reduces the demand for pressure present in industrial models that can cause pump cycling. All units include internal bearings to increase life under loaded applications. Quad path models are often installed in machine doors to feed two independent dual path models on fixtures, making VektorFlo ® the choice for all of your machine clamping needs. Integral mounting holes and multiple plumbing options make VektorFlo ® designs easier to use than specialized larger industrial model.

ROTARY UNION ARM

A robust, anti-rotation device for Vektek Rotating Unions keeping your hydraulics securely attached to the fixture!

 Make integrating live hydraulics into your horizontal pallet machines easy. Designed to securely attach Vektek Rotary Unions. Can be adapted for other general industrial grade models.  Use on single or twin pallet machines where pallet travels parallel to spindle axis.  Telescoping members allow flexibility to adapt to your machine for easy installation.  Two hose clamp mounting rails included. All clamps and additional rails can be ordered per your requirements (see below).  Rotary union interface eliminates premature rotary union failure by preventing the weight of the arm from applying damaging side loads to the rotary union.  Rotary Union Arm is designed to attach all Vektek Rotary Unions and allows X, Y and Z movement without inducing damaging twists to the union. Easily customize interface plate to attach most rotary unions.

 Each joint contains tapered roller bearings for excellent load holding with smooth actuation.  Standard Z-axis travel up to 48 inches (fits most 400-500mm pallet machines) or 60 inches (fits 630-800mm pallets).  Optional hose clamps available (Order your hose clamps below).

AUTO-COUPLER

Auto-coupler is a convenient device that allows you to automate the connection of your fixture and power supply.

 For automated decoupled systems where automated coupling is required.  The Receiver is similar to Vektek’s automatic shutoff pallet decouplers that is a self-contained package which includes two separate clamp/unclamp circuits, hydraulic connections, pilot operated check valves, filtration, pressure relief valves, and SAE 6/manifold ports conveniently located on the back or bottom of pallet receiver.  Integral mechanical lock connects and holds opposing hydraulic forces without the need of a large cylinder.  Mechanical lock is actuated with pneumatic cylinder (90 psi min.)  Cartridge style pilot operated check valves accessible for easy servicing.  Two independent air pass thru circuits with 1/8 NPT/manifold ports on the back and bottom of Auto-coupler.  Integrated air blow off to reduce contamination.  Two proximity switches used for integration and control of Auto-coupler included.  Accumulators needed for any decoupled circuit. See page K-8.  Pneumatic slide optional.  Air valve kit available.

PNEUMATIC CONFIRMATION VALVE

Confirm Clamp Stroke Position Pneumatically The pneumatic confirmation valve confirms the stage of loading before or after clamping. It is adaptable to multiple devices including: swing clamps, link clamps, cylinders and supports. Avoid machine crashes by confirming specific actions before you cycle your machine. It is designed to be used in both coolant and dry environments and is easily mounted either vertically or horizontally.
