PRESCHOOL SOCCER

This soccer program was developed to give children a positive first step into athletics. The essentials of soccer are taught in a safe, structured environment with lots of encouragement and a big focus on fun. Our soccer games and activities were designed to allow campers to explore balance, movement, hand/eye coordination, and skill development at their own pace. Learn how to work with acrylics, 'the most adaptable art material of the modern age!' Through discussion and demonstration, this class will give students the ability to learn to paint with acrylics. We will discuss why value is important, how to mix value and color and how to evaluate source material for painting. Aromatherapy is an ancient science that dates back centuries when the power of plant oils was discovered to be healing and restorative. Essential oils have valuable chemical components that are balancing and therapeutic when used correctly. In this full hands-on class, learn about carrier oils and how to combine an essential oil into them; how to smell an essential oil and discover the basics of aromatherapy for your personal use. Playing with 15-20 oils, we’ll formulate two blends to take home and enjoy a surprise gift and recipes to try on your own. $40 supply fee paid to instructor. Instructor Alcyone Nettels is a certified Master Clinical Aromatherapist with 10+ years of experience. Her interest began 30 years ago with specialized work in herbology that included medicinal formulations and healing poultices along with medicinal herbal teas. This evolved into a deeper level of studying plant oils and their restorative ability for all.
