INTRODUCTION TO SQUARE DANCING NEW Square dancing is a social folk dance for four couples (eight people) arranged in a square, guided by a caller who directs a series of movements to music. It is a collaborative activity where teamwork is essential, and the music can range from traditional styles to modern pop hits. The dance emphasises cooperation, rhythm, and fun, often described as "friendship set to music". This is suitable for beginners only.
