Dragi gosti,

Neki smatraju da poslovanje avio-kompanija nije mnogo više od pukog transfera putnika iz tačke A u tačku B. Međutim, spajanje po- rodica, prijatelja i poslovnih partnera, približavanje gradova i stvara- nje sveta udobnijeg za život nije sve što avio-prevoznici rade. Većina zapravo predstavlja svoj narod i zemlju iz koje dolazi, zbog čega naci- onalne avio-kompanije imaju posebnu odgovornost. Često su upravo one prvo što ljudi vide kada putuju u inostranstvo, a siguran sam da smo svi svesni važnosti prvih utisaka. Upravo zbog toga imperativ je da vlade i avio-prevoznici rade ruku pod ruku kako bi zajedno pred- stavili pravu suštinu svojih zemalja i njihovih građana. Od svog pokretanja u oktobru 2013. godine Er Srbija sa Vladom Srbije kontinuirano radi na pronalaženju kreativnih i inovativnih načina za privlačenje novih putnika i jačanje turizma. Sada smo otišli još jedan korak napred. Sa velikim zadovoljstvom pišem ove redove i želim vam dobrodošlicu na let na kom vas upoznajemo sa specijalnim brojem ča- sopisa Elevejt koji sa ponosom predstavlja platformu Srbija stvara , sa kojom Er Srbija ima čast da bude partner u 2019. godini. Koncept Srbija stvara deo je šire inicijative koju je započela Ana Brnabić, predsednica Vlade Republike Srbije. To je prva inicijativa ta- kve vrste, koja ima za cilj da pozicionira Srbiju na lokalnom i među- narodnom nivou na načine koji odražavaju i slave suštinske atribute

Some consider the business of airlines as not much more than transferring passengers from point A to point B. However, uniting family members, friends and business partners, bringing cities closer to one another, and making the world a more comfortable place, is not all they do. As most airlines represent their nation and country of origin, national airlines, in particular, have a special responsibility. Airlines are often a person’s rst association with a country when travelling abroad, and I’m sure we are all aware of the importance of rst impressions. This being said, it is imperative that governments and national airlines work hand in hand to capture the true essence of their countries and citizens. Since its launch in October 2013, Air Serbia and the Serbian Government have been working together continuously to nd creative and innovative ways to attract new guests and boost tourism. And now we have taken a new step forward. It is with great pleasure that I write these lines welcoming you aboard your Air Serbia ight and introducing you to a very special issue of ELEVATE magazine, in which I proudly present the Serbia Creates platform that Air Serbia is honoured be a partner of throughout 2019. The Serbia Creates concept is part of a wider initiative conceived by the Prime Minister of the Republic of Serbia, Ana Brnabić. It is the rst initiative of its kind that aims to position Serbia, locally and internationally, in ways that echo and

Stevica Rajčetić is a poet from Borča who wandered into the world of online journalism. He draws inspiration for his articles from rivers that he’s always happy to return to, except when he cheats on them with the Greek sea. He likes interesting people who have the courage to live their dreams. For this issue he presents bloggers and journalists who’ve toured nine new Air Serbia flight destinations.

Sofija Kuzmanović, modna urednica magazina Blic žena , u tekstu o čuvenom Kristijanu Dioru i njegovoj modnoj imperiji predstavlja nedavno otvorenu retrospektivnu diplomirala na Akademiji primenjenih umetnosti i dizajna u Beogradu, na Odseku za kostim. Članica je ULUPUDS-a. Diorovu izložbu u Londonu. Sofija je Sofija Kuzmanović, fashion editor of Blic žena , authors an aticle for this issue about the famous Christian Dior and his fashion empire, presenting the recently unveiled Dior retrospective exhibition in London. Sofija graduated from the Belgrade Academy of Applied Arts and Design, Costume Department. She is a member of the Association of Applied Arts Artists & Designers of Serbia.

Ana Vodinelić je diplomirala istoriju umetnosti i ima master iz novinarstva. Prve novinarske tekstove napisala je u Blicu još 1999, a od tada do danas su joj najdraže teme i intervjui sa umetnicima. U ovom broju Elevejta razgovarala je sa Tanjom Bošković, jednom od najlepših glumica sa ovih prostora. Ana Vodinelić has a degree in art history and a master’s in journalism. She wrote her first journalism pieces for daily Blic back in 1999, and from then until this day her favourites are topics and interviews with artists. For this issue of Elevete she spoke with one of the region’s most beautiful actresses ever, Tanja Bošković.

She has been following the rhythm of the city since the start of her cooperation with Elevate, and for this issue she presents to you some old cinemas, those with soul, which thrived before the large multiplexes.

S rbija stvara nova je platforma koja predstavlja sve najbolje što Srbija ima da ponudi, stavljajući fokus na kreativnost i inovativnost koje podstiču kulturno, umetničko, turističko i trgovinsko povezivanje. Platforma Srbija stvara nastala je na inicijativu predsednice Vlade Republike Srbije Ane Brnabić, koja je prepoznala ogroman potencijal kreativnih delatnosti u našoj zemlji, ali i to da je zajednički imenitelj svih kompetitivnih srpskih grana privrede – od rudarstva do poljoprivrede, tehnologije i izvođačkih umetnosti – kreativnost i inovativno razmišljanje. Pored digitalizacije i reforme obrazovanja, premijerka Brnabić je među svoje prioritete stavila i kreativne industrije. Da bi ih podržala na najbolji način, osnovala je Savet za kreativne industrije, koji čine najugledniji pojedinci i organizacije iz ove oblasti. Savet je osmislio koncept Srbija stvara , a tim pri kabinetu premijerke, uz podršku Saveta, organizuje brojne događaje, aktivnosti, radionice, okrugle stolove i promotivne inicijative u okviru ove nove platforme. S Serbia Creates is a new platform that represents the very best that Serbia has to oer, by focusing on the country’s rich culture of creativity and innovation. The Serbia Creates platform was developed at the request of Serbian Prime Minister Ana Brnabić, who recognised not only the enormous potential of the Creative Industries in Serbia, but also the fact that creativity and innovative thinking are a common denominator in all competitive branches of the Serbian economy – from mining to agriculture, technology and the performing arts. Alongside digitisation and education reform, Prime Minister Brnabić also placed the creative industries among her main priorities. In order to support them most eectively, she founded the Council for Creative Industries, which comprises the most respected individuals and organisations engaged in the eld. The Council conceived the Serbia Creates concept, and the team from the PM’s cabinet, with the support of the Council, organises numerous events, activities, workshops, round-tables and promotional initiatives within the framework of this new platform. The Serbia Creates ambassadors’program mehighlights the most successful individuals and initiatives in art, culture, technology and science who are at the top of their respective elds. Serbia Creates posters featuring these ambassadors will appear in Serbian government buildings and consulates worldwide. As the national airline, Air Serbia is a partner of the Serbia creates platform. This cooperation began with the branding of one of the planes that ies along the Belgrade - New York route. BEZ ČEGA NE ULAZITE U AVION?

ZAŠTO VOLITE AVIONE?

KOJA VAM JE DESTINACIJA OSTALA U SEĆANJU? Mauricijus. Suprug i ja smo putovali konekcijom iz Pariza i bili dve nedelje tamo, bliže Madagaskaru, bliže prirodi. WHICH DESTINATION HAS REMAINED IN YOUR MEMORY? Mauritius. My husband and I travelled via a connecting ight from Paris and spent two weeks there, closer to Mad- agascar, closer to nature.

WHAT DON’T YOU BOARD A PLANE WITHOUT? I don’t board without earphones. This is my favourite time for listening to music, writing words, summarising. I carry my planner. For me, ying by plane is one of my dearest moments to slightly remove myself (and literally physically) and view life from a bird’s perspective. There’s al- so an icon that has travelled with me since 1999. It’s always there. Ne ulazim bez slušalica. To je omiljeno vreme za slušanje muzike, pisanje, re- zimiranje. Nosim svoj planer. Za mene je let avionom jedan od najdražih tre- nutaka da se malo izmaknem (i fizič- ki bukvalno) i pogledam život iz ptičje perspektive. Takođe, tu je i ikona, koja sa mnom putuje svetom još od 1999. Uvek je tu.

Zbog činjenice da smo na trenutak bliži nebu, za mene je taj momenat uvek nekako i duhovno poseban. Samo uzbuđenje koje nosi bilo koje putovanje, novi planovi, ideje, sve to nekako vezujem za avion. Ali i kafa koju ću popiti, što bi rekli, „iz aviona se vidi“ da posebno prija.

WHY DO YOU LIKE PLANES?

ZAŠTO VOLITE BEOGRAD? Beograd je moj rod- ni grad, a za Dorćol sam posebno vazana, kao i za Senjak. U Beogra- du imam porodicu i pri- jatelje, zatim moje prija- telje muzičare sa kojima gotovo deceniju putujem i sviram. U Beogradu je moje srce.

WHY DO YOU LOVE BELGRADE?

Due to the fact that we are momen- tarily closer to heaven, for me that moment is somehow always also spiritually special. PROLEĆNO SKIJANJE NA JAHORINI S nežna idila na Jahorini nakon tri mese- ca izuzetno uspešne zimske sezone na- stavlja i u martu te iz Olimpijskog cen- razloga zadovoljstva svih onih koji su na Ja- horini boravili u prethodnom periodu. i mnogi drugi. Uslediće i adrenalinsko takmi- čenje Red Bull Home Run, koje se već tradi- cionalno održava na Jahorini na radost svih takmičara i posetilaca. Ovogodišnji Red Bull Home Run planiran je za 16. mart.

Osim toga, Olimpijski centar Jahorina pripre- mio je i brojna uzbudljiva dešavanja na plani- ni, poput Trke poznatih ljubitelja Jahorine na stazi Poljice, koja će se održati 2. marta. Uz odlično pripremljene staze, lepše vreme i dan koji duže traje, u martu na Jahorini u okviru promotivnog vikenda odobravaju po- pust od 20 odsto, i to u terminima od 7. do 10. marta i od 28. do 31. marta. Promotivne cene karata su samo jedno od iznenađenja koje je OC Jahorina pripremio za sve svoje posetioce, a tu su takođe mnogobrojni za- bavni sadržaji i manifestacije koje obećavaju mesec ispunjen adrenalinom, dobrom zaba- vom i nezaboravnim provodom. Despite industrial development having improved many technological processes, the human hand still repre- sents the most advanced “tool” that, to this day, hasn’t been outdone by any machine. P rva kolekcija Kristijana Diora prikazana 1947. bila je toliko drugačija od svega do tada viđenog, da je glavno pitanje u modnom svetu bilo kakvu će liniju lansirati sledeće godine. Silueta sa uskim strukom, naglašenim grudima i širokom midi-suknjom, poznata kao new look delovala je potpuno nestvarno po- sle mučnih ratnih godina, racionalizacije i modela na ko- jima se i kragna smatrala bahatim luksuzom, a svila ko- ristila samo za padobrane. Dior je nemilosrdno trošio i po 20 metara materijala za kostime i 40 metara za luksu- zne večernje haljine. Došlo je njegovih pet minuta i nije želeo da ih propusti. Po želji porodice školovao se za diplomatu, iako je že- leo da postane arhitekta. Jedva ih je ubedio da mu po- mognu da otvori umetničku galeriju, u kojoj su izlagali Pablo Pikaso, Žan Kokto i Maks Žakob. Bilo je to 1928. Modna kuća još je bila daleko. Pre rata, radio je kao diza- jner kod Robera Pigea, a posle rata kod Lusijena Lelon- ga, a uz podršku Marsela Busaka, proizvođača tekstila, 1946. osniva modnu kuću Dior. Sledeće godine prikazu- je prvu kolekciju Corolle and 8 , koja će ostati zapamće- na kao new look . „Stvorio sam ženu-cvet“, izjavio je Dior. Smestio se u kući sa vrtom u ulici Montenj, koju je uredio kao kombinaciju ateljea i životnog prostora. Vo- dila ga je želja da napravi prostor koji je drugačiji od luk- suznih krojačkih salona smeštenih u čuvenoj ulici Šan- zelize. T he rst collection of Christian Dior, shown in 1947, dif- fered so much from everything that had ever been seen until then that the main question in the fashion world was what kind of line he would launch the next year. Sil- houettes with narrow waistlines, accentuated breasts and wide midi skirts, known as the“New Look”, seemed completely unreal after the agony of the war years, rationing and designs on which a collar was considered an arrogant luxury, while silk was used only for parachutes. Dior mercilessly used 20 metres of material for a costume and 40 metres for luxury evening dresses. His ve minutes had arrived and he didn’t want to waste them. At the behest of his family, he studied to become a diplomat, although he’d wanted to become an architect. He struggled to persuade them to help him open an art gallery, in which works were exhibited by Pablo Picasso, Jean Cocteau and Max Jacob. That was 1928. A long road was still ahead to reach his own fash- ion house. He worked as a designer, prior to the war for Robert Piguet, and afterwards for Lucien Lelong, then – with the support of textile manufacturer Marcel Boussac – he founded the Dior fashion house in 1946. He presented his rst collection the follow- ing year,“Corolle and En 8”, which would remain remembered as the“New Look”.“I’ve created a ower woman,”announced Dior. He settled in a house with a garden in Montaigne Street, which he arranged in a style between an atelier studio and a liv- ing space. He was led by his desire to create a space that diered from the luxurious tailor’s salons located in the famous Champs - Élysées avenue. He controlled the production of his designs from start to nish and didn’t abandon his vision. He adapted the sil- houette with the design, dictated the choice of accessories and the occasion for which the dress was intended. Those who wore his designs were left no space for personal expression, and thus no risk that they would visually ruin the creation. Regardless of his greatness, we could dub him a fashion dictator. At the same time, the existence of his total design concept brought him popularity. The public recognised in Dior a label that guarantees elegance. He approached fashion like an architect by creating dresses London’s Victoria & Albert Museum is hosting the retrospective exhibition “Christian Dior: Designer of Dreams”, which gives reference to the creativity of this famous fashion house since it was founded in 1947. On display are the gowns of the famous Christian, canvas test samples, sketches, as well as designs of the artistic directors who succeeded him
