COACH: DISNEY AND ELVIS
Coach’s 75th anniversary brought a nostalgic twist to high-end fashion with the Disney x Coach collection, starring the one and only Mickey Mouse.
DUGGAL’S ROLE On the eve of the Disney x Coach release, the exteriors of 118 Coach boutiques in the U.S., Japan and China saw a large-scale Mickey Mouse transformation. When the collection headed to outlet stores, Coach once again called on Duggal to orchestrate a same-day installation across 70 stores. Duggal’s long-running relationship with Coach also earned us the nod for in-store production promoting the brand’s Elvis-themed Spring 2017 collection. Safe to say, this partnership is always entertaining!

ST. PATRICK’S CATHEDRAL
With more than 5 million visitors each year, St. Patrick’s Cathedral in New York City requires careful preservation met with equally sensitive aesthetics. To obscure the scaffolding in place for construction of a glass wall at the Lady Chapel, mesh banners were hung between the columns behind the alter. DUGGAL’S ROLE In partnership with the cathedral’s trustees and creative communications agency, DBOX, Duggal produced the 11-foot-wide, 23-foot-high banners, placing a soft frame of straps around the piece, both to anchor it and provide balance for a seamless appearance. The column straps were camouflaged by sleeves printed in the church’s stone pattern from the center of the image.

HULU’S ‘THE HANDMAID’S TALE’ @ HIGH LINE
Hulu’s acclaimed series, “The Handmaid’s Tale,” was promoted through an experiential marketing campaign in New York City during the week of the series premiere, from April 26-30. Passersby on the High Line were drawn to a brightly lit art installation stocked with 4,000 free paperback copies of Margaret Atwood’s novel, on which the series is based. As the books were handed out, the installation revealed messages of female empowerment and anti-authoritarian resistance, a contradictory nod to the subjugation depicted on the show. DUGGAL’S ROLE The installation was designed by Paula Scher and Abott Miller, produced by Civic Entertainment Group, and fabricated by Duggal Visual Solutions.

MARY MATTINGLY’S VIBRACHROME SCULPTURES
Playful experimentation is at the heart of Mary Mattingly’s artistic practice, and her recent Umberto Boccioni- inspired sculptural painting was no exception. Mattingly’s vision of transforming a metallic print of a man running into a sculptural painting was—quite literally— brought to life using silver matte printing, waterjet technology and the delicate process of bending and scoring to create the illusion of movement. DUGGAL’S ROLE With the help of Duggal consultant, Hope Savvides, Mattingly utilized Duggal’s Vibrachrome™ dye-sublimation metal printing solution to create the silver matte print that would inspire her three-part image creation.
